Or more specifically, his fat expiring contract. He represents $22M coming off the books this year. I don't know if the Bulls have the bullets to get him though. Houston can contend this year, but who would the Bulls have that the Rockets want? We have Deng, but the Rockets are set at the 3 with Ariza signed for 4 more years, and they have some interesting options at the two so they probably have no need for Kirk. So, they would need to get a 3rd team involved somehow. Maybe Memphis? |

This team needs to get a real gm, a coach and a system and then get players that fit the system, i doubt they will make that happen but who knows, |

Once again, you make a trade for TMac so that you can be in better position to sign FA's this summer. Why is this so hard for people to understand???? |

Why is this so hard for people to understand???? why is it stupid to actually want a system or plan installed? I never said i didnt agree with getting his expiring contract, I just want kirk gone with his bad contract and I want to see a plan instilled for the future. I was just kidding about being the #7 seed, i mean they really are the #7 seed, but they still suck. |

BD wrote: There is a Caron Butler for Kirk Hinrich rumor making the rounds.... I saw that. What would they do with him? It hurst their cap number for next year, and he plays the same position as Deng. Yes, he's a much better player than Hinrich, but I don't see how he fits in the future. And Butler has 1 more year after this one on his deal. Hinrich has 2. I don't see why Washington would make this deal. |

At the time of Kevin Ware's injury, there was a fake Twitter account that a lot of people thought belonged to Kevin Ware until he tweeted out "I'll be back before Derrick Rose." |

At one point I thought T-Mac was the best player in the league over Kobe. I thought he could have sustained that level of play had avoided the major back injuries that killed his career. |

Remember that season McGrady had with the Magic where he singlehandedly willed an unspeakably horrid team into the playoffs? FAKE EDIT: 2003 Magic. McGrady was the leading scorer with 2,407 points. #2 was Pat Garrity with 868. Did they even play five on five? |

Yeah that season was why I always rolled my eyes at the "not a winner in the post-season" comments about T-Mac. I felt similarly about Dwight in 2011, when IMO he had a good case to be MVP over both Rose and Lebron simply because of how terrible that Magic team was. Of course his performance over the next two years kind of took a dump on that particular argument of mine |

Who knew, that out of Hill and McGrady, it would be the less established McGrady who turned out to be Orlando's best FA signing. They could have been an earlier version of LBJ and Wade if Hill did not succumb to his ankle injuries. Hill was an excellent, MVP-type point forward in the prime of his career, and McGrady quickly became one of the league's most dangerous scorers. |

There really wasn't a much hotter debate back then than that one. This right here makes strong evidence for Ivan's "Keeping Score is a kid" theory. |
