Hell of a come back by the boys. I like rooting for this team. They play hard every damn night. I want them to make the playoffs. There is still a chance they can get the 7th seed with Indiana falling. Everybody says miss the playoffs to get a lottory pick. But that pick more then likely will be 9, 10, or 11. Big f ucking deal. It's nice to start a consecutive playoff streak. This will be the second year in a row.

I might part with their draft picks for KG, but none of their young core. This team may be dangerous when Kirk, Ben, Luol, & Tyson are all between the ages of 24-27. Guys like Duhon & Nocioni will also be entering their prime in that window. That won't be for 2-3 years, and KG may be a shadow of himself by that time. He might still get you 20 & 10, but he won't carry anybody through the playoffs, and probably won't be worth the hefty price you paid to get him.

Reminds me of one of my favorite scenes from Major League. The coaches are standing by the gate, watching the players roll in to camp. Jake Taylor hobbles by.

Pepper: Wish we had him two years ago.
Donovan: We did.
Pepper: Four years ago, then.
