Who was better Bill Cartwright or Bill Wennington? I think Cartwright from what I heard but how much better? |

Wennington had a nice jumper and would fly in outta nowhere for a tip dunk. Cartwright did neither |

Cartwright and his backups (Corzine? Waiters?) were certainly more physical and arguably better on D. Cartwright was one of the few guys on the team that would challenge Jordan. The 3 Headed Monster of Longley, Wennington and Perdue were white, grindy type guys that had 18 fouls to give. Wennington or Longley would occasionally throw in a jumper. I wouldn't describe any of these players as anything more than average. Cartwright was traded here for rebounding champ Charles Oakley, btw. |
