There's a perfect soundbite Les Grobstein uses for bold predictions like that...The Cavs win this series in no more than 5 games. Besides, Mike Brown is on the spot in my opinion. The Cavs' head coach got outcoached a year ago in the Eastern Conference Finals by the Ron Jeremy-looking Stan Van Gundy, Dwight Howard and the Magic ruining ESPN/ABC's NBA Finals matchup of LeBron vs. Kobe's Lakers. If Brown doesn't get the Cavs to the NBA Finals this year, he should not be coaching anywhere ever again! |

Spmack, I know the Bulls have beaten the Cavs in the NBA Playoffs before, but Derrick Rose isn't Michael Jordan. This Bulls team is lucky they're even in the league's second season after a 10-game losing streak in March, losing twice to the awful Nets, blowing a 35-point homecourt lead and the game to the Kings, plus losing to the Clippers twice & the Warriors out in Oakland. Truth be told, the Rockets out West would be the #8 in the East, but will be getting ready instead for that "Match Game"-like set in Secaucus, NJ for next month's NBA Draft Lottery despite a plus .500 record in the top heavy Western Conference. |

What would happen if the Bulls did win this series? Most everybody is going 4 or 5 game series and a Cavs win, well what if the Bulls win, does Vinny keep his job, would that help get more big time free agents, or just the same as what will happen if they lose. |

Im thinking Cavs in 5, but I think a few games will be competitive. I also think the Bulls are the least favorite choice for the Cavs first round opponent. They would probably rather face Milwaukee, Charlotte, or Toronto right now. This isn't going to be like Detriot as the #8 seed last year. That team was finished and was headed towards a rebuliding stage, the Bulls are much different. |

Before the incident involving Vinny Del Negro and Executive V.P. John Paxson that was revealed during Tuesday's game vs. the Celtics, I thought that if the Bulls won a playoff series, I really believed that Vinny would survive and be brought back as head coach for a third season. In the wake of that, not to mention an increasingly sour relationship between Del Negro, Paxson and General Manager Gar Forman, I don't think surprising the basketball world and sending the Cavs home for the summer saves Vinny's job. In fact, I wouldn't be shocked if Del Negro & Paxson are both sent packing, especially now that NBA Commissioner David Stern's office is now investigating. The damage is done, Reents. |

Unless they make some miraculous run to the Conference Finals, Vinny is gone. |

Regardless of the outcome of the playoffs, I'd prefer VDN be fired and Paxson to resign. |
