Wade coming to Chicago for a second visit? After he publicly ripped ownership for loyalty? and of all the combinations that are possible, Wade and Rose is the worst fit I can see of anyone? Is this guy here to cut a mega deal or just fuck the Bulls over? And does Rose get pissed if they go down the road with Wade and Rose trade talks heat up? |

I don't see a single way he could fuck the Bulls. I think he is creating either a backup plan, or a new plan, in case Miami can't get a lot of talent. |

Where are you reading this at? WHERE YOU BEEN MAN!?!?!?!? Chicago pressing for Wade, LeBron partnership By Adrian Wojnarowski, Yahoo! Sports 24 minutes ago Email Print Dwyane Wade(notes) will meet privately with Chicago Bulls officials for a second time in two days on Friday and is seriously contemplating leaving the Miami Heat to join his hometown team, a league source told Yahoo! Sports. This could be a significant step in Wade helping to create a blockbuster partnership with LeBron James(notes) on the Bulls. Wade and James have been discussing the possibility of playing together, but the major hurdle to the starry alliance remains James’ reluctance to join Wade in Miami, sources say. More From Adrian Wojnarowski Mogul making: Prokhorov sells LeBron Jun 30, 2010 Team LeBron reaches for prominence Jun 28, 2010 “D-Wade and LeBron want to play together, but neither one wants to commit to each other,” a source with knowledge of the conversations told Yahoo! Sports on Friday. Sources say that Wade is intrigued by the infrastructure of talent the Bulls have to surround him, especially in contrast to how gutted the Heat roster has become in the clearing of salary cap space. The Bulls are trying to line up a commitment from Wade prior to their formal presentation with James in Cleveland on Saturday, sources said. Chicago has a strong nucleus of young players, including Derrick Rose(notes) and Joakim Noah(notes), who with Wade and James would instantly turn the Bulls into a championship contender. Without Wade leaving Miami to join James elsewhere, league sources believe that the two players are most likely to re-sign with their respective teams, Miami and Cleveland. Still, Wade and free agent forward Chris Bosh(notes) are closely connected and even without James, Wade is considering a Chicago partnership with Bosh. With 29.9 million in cap space, Chicago could give two different players a five year, $87.6 million contract. Sources say that Chicago has a proposed trade of Luol Deng(notes) looming for what’s described as a “serviceable center,” that could help to clear more space. The Bulls could also ship young forward James Johnson(notes) to get more room. The Bulls must make a strong case to James on Saturday to get him to take what would be $30 million less than the Cavaliers could offer. Sources say one team that all but eliminated itself with James in the presentation process was the New York Knicks. James’ inner-circle has described New York’s presentation as lacking preparedness and organization. James’ camp also found it to be redundant to much of the New Jersey Nets’ far sharper, edgier presentation on James’ earning power. James hasn’t been convinced that he can overcome the $30 million difference between possible Cleveland and New York offers through endorsements and other streams of revenue. However, Russian billionaire Mikhail Prokhorov’s vision of bulking up James’ international portfolio did resonate with him, and the Nets vision of using Brooklyn and the owner’s international muscle does appeal to him. Sources say that James is dubious his mere presence on the Knicks will be worth that much more to him in endorsements. The appearance of Knicks GM Donnie Walsh in a wheelchair due to a neck problem and the frumpy, unimpressive Jim Dolan didn’t provide James with an image of vibrancy. |

Miss a little miss a lot. I'm not buying this. It wouldn't make sense with Rose on the team. What would you do with him? Trade him? Not saying I would be against it for them but it looks like someone is looking for leverage. With Amare liking getting ready to sign with the Knicks the pool is starting to dry out. |

Leverage for what? And trading DRose is fine by me. I just don't see how this backfires on the Bulls. It's just another meeting. |

I believe a team like the Clippers or Wolves would gladly take on Deng's contract since they missed out of the Gay sweepstakes. Even the Knicks could do it. I honestly don't see how those 2 would work with Rose but I would love to see it. |

Not sure what they do with Rose then. Is it possible you trade him in a deal for Bosh? Leaving you Lebron, Wade, Noah, Deng, and Bosh. Then you have Wade and Lebron doing the ball handling? |

I think it's an attempt by the Heat to slow the Bulls preparation for their meeting with LeBron. I could be wrong but I would be shocked if he left the Heat. |

Even after 10 years, that dog & pony show that King Crumbs masterminded still makes me shake my head. T-Mac should have turned around and got back on the plane. Regardless of that, the whole Wade thing heating up is intriguing as hell. Who's to say they don't get him locked up tonight and go get LeBron tomorrow? What the hell is Miami going to do? They have no starting 5, no bench....can they get kicked down to developmental league for a year? |

I haven't read down the thread, but I heard someone somewhere suggest Wade/Bosh/LeBron to the Bulls with D.Rose and Deng being traded for one of those guys (via the sign-and-trade thing Hova's always going on about). Or maybe it was Wade/Stoudamire/Lebron? |

Here's a potential reason D Wade might want to play in Chicago next season: while the judge last Friday finalized Wade's divorce from his wife, Siohvaughn, the judge did so before custody of the couple's kids and their financial affairs were settled. So maybe D Wade is getting the proper advice that if he wins/takes custody of his kids, then Siovaughn gets a lot less money; which money would dry up if she were to ever re-marrry. In which case he could probably just pay her a lump sum to bugger off while he takes care of the kids. |

I would LOVE to see Wade and Lebron on the Bulls! I love D Rose, but if you find out the 3 of them dont work well together then you trade him. Seems simple enough to me. I am not yet convinced the 3 of them could not work out well together. I think a line up of Rose, Wade, Lebron, Taj, and Noah would be lights out. |

I don't think Rose would be a problem. He doesnt come across as the guy who wants to be the star. |

IMO there wouldn't be enough balls but that's a problem I'm willing to deal with later. Deng doesn't strike me as a guy that could help you off the bench because he seems like more of a role player. You wouldn't get instant offense from him. Word is Wade and Bosh are meeting with the Bulls with their agent. Is this all for play for LeBron to get him to make a quick decision? Could this really backfire on the Bulls? |

Wade and Bosh both at their agent's office (they have the same agent?), apparently Bosh needs to Phone Home: |

Been following this all day, I will take a combo of what BF and HOVA are serving up. I really like HOVA's deal, but in order for it to be on the table Rose needs to be shipped somwhere and if that is the case, it is going to come out he is being shipped, if that shit comes out, they better complete the deal. |

D Wades injuries have always worried me. He's 28 going on 38. I'd rather keep a 21 year old D Rose around for the next 10+ years. |

so it very well probably will be wade and bosh to bulls, and lebron stays in cleaveland for 3 more years. if he doesnt win by then, then it will be time to do the kevin garnett thing and just go for the rings with whoever can. i tell you what though, wade/rose/taj g/bosh/noah would be fun as hell too.... |

D Wade is good and all, but if we gotta give up Rose to give him Im not down. D Wade will be on the downside of his career within a couple years. And he still cant shoot 3s. |

Post subject: | Re: Wades Intentions? |
I would rather keep Rose too. Wade imo is the 3rd best player in the league but he has a history of injuries and his style of play doesn't help that. He takes alot of punishment. The upside though is that Wade brings a much better chance for a Chip than Rose does at this point. I also believe they could co-exist on the court as well. Rose, Wade and a big man like Bosh would bring a ring here too. |
