Best and only chance for Bulls to be a contender is if Rose suffers a season ending injury in training camp. Nothing career threatening, just bad enough where he can't play all season. Noah suffering the same fate would be good as well. Then they can get a top lottery pick and find the superstar they need to team with Rose and Noah.

That is the ONLY chance they have of building a contender here.

That plan worked wonders for San Antonio, Bulls should try it as well.

They should also hire some street thugs to kidnap Pax, rape him in the ass with a splintered 2x4 and then use said 2x4 to beat him in the head until he is dead. This step is necessary for the top part to work cause this team will never win shit as long as that fucking useless cocksucker is in charge.

Granted, Bulls ended up getting ridiculously lucky in that lottery, but in retrospect, if the Bulls didn't get that #1 pick and instead got the #8 seed would fans still be happy with that mediocre accomplishment 3 years later and not having Rose on the roster? It amazes me how people can't grasp the big picture of sacrificing one year for the benefit of a a decade with a superstar. Do you think Spurs fans are still upset about that year Robinson got hurt and they were the worst team in the league? Or do you think they are happy they got Tim Duncan?

Even if you think Ass raping/Murdering John Paxson is slightly over the top. There is some truth in what Shakes says. Thats how the league works. The league is so superstar driven compared to other leagues and most of the top 15 players are now unavailable for the next FEW years. The problem is there is gonna be a work stoppage. Not sure how that affects the draft or lottery. A draft with 2 years worth of players?
