Best and only chance for Bulls to be a contender is if Rose suffers a season ending injury in training camp. Nothing career threatening, just bad enough where he can't play all season. Noah suffering the same fate would be good as well. Then they can get a top lottery pick and find the superstar they need to team with Rose and Noah.

That is the ONLY chance they have of building a contender here.

Its true. People fail to grasp the big picture. I remember when I was campaigning for the Bulls to tank the entire season leading up to the Rose draft so they could get Rose and people were blasting me for that, saying that they wanted to try and get that last playoff spot instead. Un fucking believable how stupid people can be. Granted, Bulls ended up getting ridiculously lucky in that lottery, but in retrospect, if the Bulls didn't get that #1 pick and instead got the #8 seed would fans still be happy with that mediocre accomplishment 3 years later and not having Rose on the roster?

It amazes me how people can't grasp the big picture of sacrificing one year for the benefit of a a decade with a superstar.
