Barring a late change of heart, sources say James has decided to join buddies and fellow All-Stars Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh to form a potential NBA powerhouse.

'The Decision' Is Coming

Where will LeBron James' basketball future take him? The NBA's two-time defending MVP will reveal his destination on "The Decision" on ESPN (Thursday, 9 p.m. ET). Stuart Scott, Jon Barry and Michael Wilbon will host the hourlong special.

James will make his announcement from the Boys and Girls Club of Greenwich, Conn. during an hourlong special on ESPN at 9 p.m. ET on Thursday called "The Decision." Sales of sponsorship for the program will go to the Boys and Girls Club of America.

James, Wade and Bosh had been discussing joining forces in Miami for several weeks, according to the sources. ESPN.com reported on June 28 that the trio met in Miami on Saturday, June 26. However, sources now say the players actually met in Cleveland roughly a week earlier.

I was just watching as well (I know) and they said the "fill jordans shoes/rings" ad campaign didn't go over well with him and there were issues with how much clout/access/whatever his "inner circle jerk" would get. First, what could they have expected that the Bulls would have said no to? I still think the bulls are more attractive on many levels. Could they have just screwed it up with the meetings and attitude with the Jordan stuff or is it all guessing and Bristol promotion?

In a thread of complete and utter idiocy, this quote takes the genius prize. Back you go.

ESPN says it and the story was brought by Chris Brousard and then he says on Mike and Mike that it could change, that's trying to cover yourself.

A nice huge conflict of interest. ESPN is a joke, Broutard knows nothing more than anyone else and is talking out of his ass to drum up shit for the lame us Queen LeBron show tonight. "My sources say...." "My sources are now saying..." "My sources are convinced"...what a joke.

The "Unless he has a change of heart/diapers" line is the biggest mealy mouthed vomit one could say. I'm sure Chicago will be mentioned as something he is "leaning heavily towards" 1 hour before his dumb ass show starts.

None of these fuckers know anything.

This whole 1-hour special put another nail in the whole journalistic integrity coffin. ESPN is supposed to be reporting the news, not making it themselves. Someone in Bristol must know the decision before this thing airs, and they are willingly witholding the decision to generate ratings, and sell commercials. The whole thing makes me dislike Lebron, and makes me hate ESPN even more. They all come out of this looking bad IMO.

P.S. If he chooses Chicago, I guess I would still be happy...

He is going to Toronto, it is done. My sources tell me he has always wanted to play with Hedo.

I just talked to Chris Broussard and he said that "Maybe Lah-Braaaawn James sorta, might, is leaning towards, kinda, almost, possibly, might not like the Knicks." But he also followed up with "If he has a sudden change of heart in the next 8 hours he might, maybe, could, almost, 50% go with the Bulls,Cavaliers,Heat, Nets or Golden State Warriors." He than said that his sources are "In the Know" and he isn't just spreading idle rumors, gossip, and outright lies to pump up the ratings for the spectacle tonight because that would def. go against his code of journalistic ethics and values and he would never sacrifice those...never, ever, ever ,ever....well, maybe.
