I think I'm done with pro basketball. It's a thug league with more a-holes in uniform than any other sport. The bulls get jobbed again and will be looking to dump Boozer's contract in four years. Our big signing, Boozer, is a jerk who reneged on a handshake deal with Cleveland a few years ago. The LeBron spectacle absolutely made me sick. The teams walk through the regular season and then step it up in the playoffs. All of this has virtually turned me off so much, I can't see watching anymore. It's tough being a Chicago fan. Thank goodness for the Hawks and then they have to go and start dumping guys we all fell in love with. The team I live and die with, the Cubs, are a total joke. I hate the Sox, but am starting to hope thay can make a run to the playoffs to bring the city some more pride. So, the first sport and team I am giving up on is pro basketball and the Bulls. Does anyone else feel like I do? |

Would it have been less of a thug league if LeBron had come to Chicago? |

Well I hate pro Basketball, biggest joke of a league. I am a Cub fan and I am starting to lose hope I will see a WS run in my lifetime.Hawks are scaring me with the trades they are making. Redskins fan, nuff said. I still love the teams I follow just getting harder to do esp with the CUB. |

"I hate the Sox, but am starting to hope thay can make a run to the playoffs to bring the city some more pride." Do I sense a gradual switch to the right team? You know, it's been 102 years. I do see your point about the NBA, but I'm very anxious to see how this Bulls team pans out and how the rest of the teams compete against Miami. |

My first comment to my dad after the announcement was "at least I can continue not paying much attention to the NBA." I'm not going to act like I haven't been all over this for six months. |

I think this definitely makes the league more interesting. I think it created a villain in a lot of fans eyes. I really think the perception between Boston's Big Three and Miami's is going to be completely different. I think a lot of NBA fans were happy to see Pierce, KG etc get a championship whereas a lot of NBA fans are going to be rooting against Miami fiercely for years to come. Obviously him on the Bulls would have been great. It didn't happen. It seems like the organization did everything possible. Let's go get us Kyle Korver and see Miami in the playoffs. |

I wouldn't be doing cartwheels over LeBron coming to Chicago, but I may have stuck around to watch some. I am not buying into the Carlos Boozer era. You've got players wearing gym shoes, shorts and tank tops meeting with millionaire owners in their custom-made suits. The owners are begging these guys to take their multi-millions to come and play for their teams. Then, before the contracts are up, they'll be trying to trade these guys to clear up salary cap space. This is the ultimate in lunacy. |

I mean the Heat plays in an arena that puts up curtains to hide the fact that the place is half empty. |
