I actually think Noah can win the Rebounding title, but Rose scoring? Not gonna happen.

even though i love to see rose with back to back 30+ point games, i think it's overall a troubling sign for the team as a whole if rose is jackin up ~30 shots a game. granted boozer isn't here yet and as someone said in chat, luol has been outright dung (i know, ask hub, i'm underappreciating his 2-10 9 points 2 rebound 1 assist effort: THIS IS WHY HUB DOESN'T WANT TO HEAR ABOUT LUOL'S CONTRACT ANYMORE GUISE) but when noah is taking the 2nd highest # of shots for the bulls it's just not a good sign... i mean, as they say on twitter, #comeonson.

then again, maybe rose is developing a killer instinct and this season, a season where we know they're not a real threat to contend for the NBA title, is going to end up being a ~50 win mid-seed NBA hell development season for derrick?

thankfully, it seems like the bulls have someone who wants to coach and call some offensive plays. this is a good thing, unless you're nort who reminded us that vinny started off 1-0 last year and thibbs started off 0-1 this year SO WHY ALL THE LOVE?!@

GO CLIPPERS WOOOO FRANKIE MUNIZ IS A GOD!

i still cant tell what rose is going to be, but he is definitely better then last year, and has never showed any sign of regression in his career. the guy just gets better, better, better.

thats why our new coach excites me so much. tibedow is making scott skiles look like martha stewart and the players are actually eating it up. might have something to do with tibedow being intelligent.... and the way this team is being coached is clearly showing on and off the court.

even when they lose you hear the players talk about the game in a demeanor that we havent heard since the skiles days. rose is now developing in a system where 'slouches' are not accepted, and all players must play to their highest ability at all times. thats exactly how rose likes it.

imagine guys like asik if it was vinny coaching this team. he would be the joke of the league, but with a coach that can slot in a redheaded tallsize dildo in a productive way, you see guys like asik and james johnson actually doing things they should (and well)

If Noah stays healthy, he will be in the top 5 in rebounding this year. Once Boozer is back, Rose's Average will drop down to somewhere in the low 20's.

When FavreFan comes back I'd like to ask him again whether or not he thinks that Rondo is clearly better than Rose.

Is Rose clearly better than Rondo?
It's still too early to say definitively but I think Rose is looking like he is.

However, this is going to look foolish I'd say. http://score670.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?p=815190#p815190

The weird stat I learned during last night's game was that Rose only recorded his 15th career double-double. That seems a little low for a guy being in his third year in the league. I don't expect him to grab rebounds, but I would have thought he could have cracked 10 Assists in a large number of games by now.

DB, you would be hard pressed to throw 10 assists in a game if you had to pass to the likes of Jannero Pargo, Hakim Warrick, and James Johnson too.

Yeah, I think his double-doubles will increase once the pugilist comes back.

Last night was a great night for Rose. There was a sequence I believe in the early part of the 4th where things were getting stagnant and the Bulls needed a bucket. Rose shredded whoever was guarding him in the halfcourt set, and then went coast to coast shooting a leaner over Alridge with the left hand for 4 quick points and forcing Portland to take a timeout.

2010 Rose = Instant Offense

Another great sequence just a little later was when Rose moved the ball to the left of the floor, Korver (I believe) was at the top of the circle. Rose was being double teamed and the off help was hedging toward Korver. Rose fired the pass across court to an open Deng who nailed the three. Stacy King broke out the telestrater for those who missed it the first time.

Deng for some reason has feasted on Portland. His two highest scoring performances are both against the them. Oh and you can keep Rudy Fernandez. He sucked last night.

This is Rose's year 3 explosion. If you look at stats of other comparable point guards like Chris Paul and Deron Williams, their numbers went to the next level in Year 3.

Is John Wall already better than Rose?

no. wall is just really quick and fast. but so is rose, and rose is stronger. well see where wall is in a couple years, he does look a little promising.

Too small of a sample size to tell yet.

I believe that Wall may end up a better pure scorer whereas Rose will end up a more valuable player.

I still think that Wall will be the type of player that makes great plays or has great games but isn't a great player.

I'd much rather have Rose.
