hes playing more aggressively... which he needs to do for him to be good... but...... damn bulls are starting to control this game already! noah is a monster... deng is looking ok... i guess.... asik is also staying in view... who is this guy anyway? he keeps doing good things when you are so used to "new tall skinny bulls" guys being really stupid on the court. |

Anybody see this? Good win by the Bulls. Rose w/ 15pt and 13 assists. Deng w/ 40. Asik fouls out but had a dexent game. Poertland couldn't shoot straight for most of the gamewhich was fine. Fun to see the home team dominate a decent team. |

After watching the game tonight I want the Bulls to have nothing to do with Rudy F. |

Agree with you on Rudy, let Portland keep him. I know B&B had said in the offseason that he wasn't anything the Bulls needed, and today they mentioned the rumors about him. |

i remember heading into the 2006 draft thinking "you know, if the bulls draft lamarcus aldrige yeah they'll get their 16/8 big, but... what could tyrus thomas become if he learns the game? that motherfucker is a raw athlete..." ho-hum, 33/9 for lamarcus tonight, i believe. and tyrus... oh tyrus. goff nailed it with the moniker of "the bumslayer" also that image of him playing shirtless in jeans at the Y cracks me the fuck up. rebound dribble back iso and mid-range jumper please can anyone back up the story that in the pre-draft workouts skiles sat down with aldridge and proceeded to stare him down for 15 mins straight saying absolutely nothing, much to lamarcus' discomfort, which led skiles to say something akin to "we aren't drafting that pussy" ??? i swear i heard this intimated on b&b once, you know how they sometimes say things without saying them (i.e. oprah is gay) |

It's nice to see Deng show up after an embarassing performance on Saturday night. |

yeah but i wasn't sure Deng was capable of having a fire lit under him. seems kind of ambivalent in general |

Aldridge is the one who mentioned to B&B that Skiles just stared at him. Later that week IIRC Paxson was interviewed and politely intimated that Skiles was less than verbose during the initial portion of the dinner date. |

Anyone else catch the end of the third. Thibs left both Johnson and Asik on the floor for the last 2 minutes with 5 fouls. Neither fouled out (Asik in the 4th) and neither made a stupid foul, or played ole style defense. It was a pretty gutsy call IMO. The game was by no means out of reach for the Blazers. This is going to be a fun year. |
