Harry has been complaining lately that Goff doesn't qualify as an NBA expert. I have no idea what an NBA expert looks like, but I have seen some decent writing on topics "discussed" here. Sam Smith has been an entertaining read. His pieces are long and sometimes winding, but good and glib nonetheless. There are two good articles. I included just 1 with no text (too lengthy). The second article discussing the Rose vs Wall game was also decent and worth searching under Sam Smith's byline. Bulls Shooting Guard options. http://www.nba.com/bulls/news/smith_101115.html Also topics in article are: -Heat in need of an edge - Spoelstra gets no respect -Gibson having breakout season -Amar’e and Knicks off to slow start -Van Gundy speaks his mind early -Yao sidelined again -Beasley joins elite group -Are the Blazers cursed? -Road trip? No problem for the Jazz Wall vs. Rose Recap Can't include second link. |

I love Sam. I miss his column, although it was difficult to separate real suff from Sam stuff. Sam did have a lot of good info but tended to put his opinion on certain situations in as fact. And by Harry do you mean the guy from ESPN? Why would he even mention Jason Goff? |

Here is the reference City. Harry and Walt had some issues with Goff exclaiming thoughts on the NBA and whether he is worthy. viewtopic.php?f=21&t=52757 |
