The entire NBA went to this new style. It's no longer that shinny material that the Bulls have had for a couple of years. This new uniform has a bunch of little holes in it. I guess that keeps them cooler or at least that's the idea.

I've also noticed a some subtle differences. The names on their backs are smaller lettering and the numbers on the front of their jerseys are lower down from the BULLS across their chest. The numbers used to be right under the BULLS, almost touching it. Also, on the white jerseys the red numbers are outlined in black and then another outline of white. You can't really notice the white outline unless it's a close shot cuz the uniforms are white. It used to just be a black outline. All of the NBA teams have gone to the extra white outline on their numbers for their white jerseys. Only I notice this stuff so you can make fun of me.

They are cheap, high quality jerseys.

Typical sexist Beardown post.

:thumright:

Nice. I like the effort.

In truth, however, nobody fights racism and sexism more than me on this board. :P

I think I've made a small difference in our small little world here.

I hope if any of you crackers on this board have a black girl as a child you'll name her after me, and when she's old enough tell her how I was a champion for equal rights for all.

(Opening scene - A locker room at Yankee Stadium. George is helping Danny Tartabull with his swing)

GEORGE: O.K., Danny, take a swing. <Tartabull swings the bat.> N-No! No! No! You're opening up your shoulder.

TARTABULL: Really?

GEORGE: No, not really. I'm just saying this to you because I like to hear myself talk. Yes, really!

TARTABULL (wiping sweat from his brow): Alright, alright.

GEORGE: What are all sweatin' for?

TARTABULL: It's hot in this uniform.

GEORGE: Hot? <Feels Tartabull's material.> What is this?

TARTBULL: What is what?

GEORGE: This uniform, what's it made from?

TARTBULL: I don't know, cotton?

GEORGE: No. This is not cotton. Here, lemme see. <Tries to look at the tag on the uniform. Tartabull gets creeped out and resists.> Will you stop it? <Looks at the tag.> Oh. Of course. Polyester!

TARTABULL: So?

GEORGE: I can't believe you're not playing in cotton.

TARTABULL: Well, this is what they give us.

GEORGE: You know they used to make leisure suits out of this fabric?

TARTABULL: You really think cotton's better?

GEORGE: Of course! Alright, maybe I'll say something to Buck.

TARTABULL: Yeah, good idea. Catch ya later. <Leaves.>

GEORGE: Hey, don't embarrass me today. I got some friends in the stands. <George makes a swinging motion with an imaginary bat and pulls something in his back.>

Beardown, just for you sir....

I love this guy on ESPN...he's know the changes of every team, even down to the detail of whether they changed the stripe on their collars...

I bet no one remembers for one year that the Bulls had white letters for their last name on the back of the alternate black jersey....I think it was the first or second year that Ben Wallace was here.
