i'll be there to see this one in person, so that means the sanctity of your thread has just quadrupled without my wanton NBA thoughts. i'm crushing a tallboy becks before i knock that dirt off my shoulders and head to the westside, so yeah, i heard the bulls sucked the last two games? my memory seems to be lacking proper images of those two games. |

This game was ugly early, a lot of missed shots on top of shitty defense. Rockets are horrible. |

Rockets are missing their 2 best players, Yao and Brooks, and the tallest guy on the court for them much of this game is 6'9" with their other Forward/Center listed @ 6'6". |

wow, as bad as the Rockets are tonight, and they've been awful (one of their guards has dribbled off his foot and turned the ball over twice just in the 4th quarter), they're only down 2 halfway through the 4th. Rose should just drive every time. Rockets don't have anyone in the middle to block his shot. |

Houston without Brooks and Yao--that'd be like if the Bulls were missing Rose and Noah--is leading by 4 with 3 minutes to go in the 4th on the road. Thom needs a thymeout to check to make sure it's actually the Bulls in the white uniforms. |

Terrible officiating down the stretch here, but that doesn't absolve terrible shots that even I can tell are going to bounce back to half court. |

I did not get a chance to see the game, but from the stats it looks like Boozer had a much better game. That is good to see and also Rose with 4 Three's is nice as well. |

i was in row 1 of section 331. a spittin distance from the crown royal bar where you could cop a stella or heineken or whatever. fucking proper. the bulls were clearly the better team, however for most of the second half houston just played better. i wanted to scream at someone when lowry went left for easy layups twice during clutch time. i was dumbfounded just thinking "the bulls are going to lose this game? what the fuck? the bulls are going to lose to the rockets?" brad miller was on his 3pt grizzly... and kevin martin had woke up in the third quarter to say hello and grab 10 points in a hurry but then he went back to sleep (of note was the fact that he wasn't even on the floor during clutch time / overtime. i mean, wow, wasn't he acquired to be their scorer?) speaking of their scorer, luis scola looked real nice too. boozer was sonning people early with some of those post moves... that's the guy they acquired. his jumper isn't quite where it should be. obviously, derrick's big three was the highlight of all of my live NBA experiences (pops took my uncle to the bulls/magic playoff game where they came back from being down 23 to start the 4th... grumble grumble!) and man that shit was cold blooded. i promptly thanked jesus and went on knowing that the bulls would win that game. oh and i also felt sorry for the contingent of ~6 chinese people to my right... they didn't seem to be too much into the game, talking and texting and sipping their $4-5 sodas. clearly, they had bought these tickets in order to see yao and suffice to say that wasn't going to happen. at least they showed up, even tho the attendance was announced at 21,232 there were blocks of seats open around the whole arena... maybe a lot of people pussed out? some dude behind me was tellin me he copped his tickets off a dude on teh street for face, so i guess this wasn't a high priority like friday night's laker game will be. |
