Will Chicago fans be treated to an MJ appearance at the UC tonight? This is definitely a revenge game from last week's disappointing loss. James Johnson comes in and plays 47 minutes and scores 36 in a 29 point blowout. Is Boozer out tonight?

Carlos Boozer is supposed to miss tonight's game with the Bobcats at United Center with the sprained ankle, sustained at the end of Saturday night's 96-93 win over the Heat on the three-point by the Ashton Kutcher-looking Kyle Korver. Head coach Tom Thibodeau says that Boozer's ankle is feeling better, but it remains to be seen if he'll be back Thursday when the slumping Mavericks visit the West Side on the Bulls' favorite cable channel, the first of another NBA/TNT doubleheader, starting at 7p.

D-Rose is going to miss 15 shots on purpose to obtain a 20/20/20 game.

The Bumslayer goes off, drops 23/16, but the Bulls still somehow win by 4 in a nail-biter.

Also, why is everyone starting threads so early that Ike doesn't have a chance? This is an outrage!

The bulls with 18-3 home record (3rd best in the league) playing back to backs after the MLK matinee, see them with a little letdown in the 3rd.Led by Deng again win by 7, Double k has been stroking it real good of late and thats how 3 pt shooters run hot and cold...he's hot now

Agree on Korver. This is what he was brought here to do. When he's shooting well from the perimeter, that opens up the lane more for Rose and Boozer/Noah/Gibson.

Allright you want more of my thoughts ,well here goes. How in the heck does a 3 pointer shooter open the lane for anyone? He stands at the arc waiting for the pass off the dribble drive, please help me how Kover opens the lane for Boozer,Rose,Boozer or Gibson. With Kover staying by the arc doesn't that allow players to double down and make it more difficult to drive the lane? Help me please

If he's not a shooter, or in Korver's case not hitting his shots, the defense can sag and play off the shooter. That increases the number of defenders that are in or around the paint. Rose would have more defenders to get through to get to the basket, and the post players can't move as freely if the defense can just collapse and leave Korver open.

It is.

It's simple. You can disagree if you want.

And you'd be wrong.

But thanks for sharing your thoughts. :thumleft:

the bobcats don't want to rebound... it's a pity the bulls don't seem that interested in defense early on.

Did the fans scream with the anthem? I am assuming no because they are not winning right now.

I didn't know Frank Robinson took over for Larry Brown as Bobcats coach. Nice to see him awake.

The Bulls need to learn how to foul better. Maybe we should invite them to the next Hoops.

the second rose iso with teh forced shot in traffic was no good. gerald wallace pwnd them and ronnie brewer was way too fucking weak and hence the and-1.... here's to hoping they can score.

That's just fucking awful. You can't lose to the Bobcats two in a row.

Post subject:  Re: Bullz Skin Panther-like Catz in Chicago @ 7PM CSN

yeah the fix was in, they got two calls they didn't really deserve and rose forced up a rough shot.

now in #basketball there's a bulls apologist arguing with me about whether brewer made the right play giving up a layup opportunity to kick it to 2-11 LOL DENG for the open 3. i say you've got the guy in the air hesitate take your chances for the layup, the out-of-town bulls apologist says the LOL DENG 3 was the way to go.

obviously, hindsight is on my side... but rose made a nice pass you had the defender in teh air get a layup draw the foul something. i think they were down 1 at that point? yeah.

YEp. Both announcers were saying Brewer can't pass that shot up.
