Let's face it, with the draft of Thomas one of them has to go. We have 3 young small forwards. I think Deng can bring you more in value and Nocioni will accept 20 minutes a game. I suppose they can have all three for Thomas rookie year but I doubt it. Thomas and Deng need to play and Noc deserves minutes too.

Can Thomas or Deng be a two guard? That would solve alot. Noc obviously can't.

Yeah, it's sort of a nice dilemma to have. I think Deng has a ton of talent, but damnit, I freaking love Noc (and he has really proved himself in the last two playoff series, IMO).

That's a good question; Thomas at least believes he can, but that remains to be seen!

I'm a little late as well. I would put Anderson and Payton in the backfield together.

Nocioni has quickly gone from one of the league’s most underrated players to one of the league’s most overrated players. Love the guy and would have him on my team anyday, but don’t confuse effort with skill.

By the by, Nocioni is entering the final year of a relatively cheap contract, so this issue may sort itself out next offseason if & when another GM offers the kid some nice coin…

Or Jeff Blauser and Ryne Sandberg as a double-play combo.

Personally, I think Karkovice calls better pitches when McDowell is on the mound. And yes, I'd probably start B.J. ahead of Paxson this year.
