Do you like the broadcasts with him or do you think he is cutting into your Stacey time?

Love it. Pip delivers the analysis as if he's still playing. He sees the slightest details and puts it out there. He really stood out in gm 3

He did do a much better job in game 3. It still is very hard to hear him at times, but he's definitely starting to get more comfortable.

Ironically, I've only watched the national feeds so I haven't heard him.. I always go national in the playoffs.

Only 2 national broadcast teams are worth listening to. Marv and Steve Kerr and Mark Jackson/Van Gundy. The rest are pretty bad. Funk, Stacey and Pip are the goods

Harlan and Reggie Miller too.

And I actually was going to call in about this, but I think Scottie is not as bad as people say...he's bringing actual thoughts. And he's not trying to talk over Stacey and Neil..

Yeah, we wouldn't want to short-change Scotty Brooks or anything.

Man, I wish the high-top fade would come back. My guy Brandon Jennings tried to bring it back last year but it didn't catch on.

I've been pleasantly surprised by Pippen. Not that I didn't think he knew the game - anyone watching him back in the day knew he got it. But as was stated earlier, he really does talk from a player point of view, and he doesn't seem to mince words in the short stretches that I have been able to listen.

Particularly tonight in the third quarter, when Boozer went to the bench with foul trouble (yet again), Pippen was quick to point out why Boozer was being whistled - he doesn't move his feet, and he's slow to rotate and step up on D. Then Taj came in, was extremely active on defense, and provided Pippen with a perfect example of what the Bulls need Boozer (and all their bigs) to be doing. And to Pip's credit, he then drove the point home hard, basically saying that unless Boozer brings that kind of effort and awareness to the defensive end, he's going to be an ongoing liability to their defense, and to their championship hopes.

Pip gave Booz the biz lastnight. Straight up called him out on his limp soft play

Was last night the last local broadcast we can get?

Pippen was very good last night. He got his points in nicely, was quick to it, gave solid commentary and then shut up. Stacey was also good in his analysis, and shtick :). They also didn't parrot each other's thoughts too much. It became downright comfortable.

Yeah he did. It took a little while, but I'm starting to really like him as the third guy on the broadcast...

Things got a little tense toward the end when Stacey felt Pip was doling out the "hot sauce" designation a little too freely. I love this booth. I wish they were doing the rest of the playoffs.
