At times I find myself wishing you were nicer to me. :(

And you may find yourself living in a shotgun shack
And you may find yourself in another part of the world
And you may find yourself behind the wheel of a large automobile
And you may find yourself in a beautiful house, with a beautiful wife
And you may ask yourself-Well...How did I get here?

This just in. Dat's No Gouda.

Ailing Rose likely out vs. Wizards; Bulls sign backup
By K.C. Johnson, Tribune reporter

3:46 p.m. CST, January 11, 2012
Concerned about the status of Derrick Rose's ailing left big toe, the Chicago Bulls have signed veteran point guard Mike James to a non-guaranteed contract, a league source confirmed.

James, who played for coach Tom Thibodeau in Houston, is en route to Chicago and trying to make Wednesday's tipoff vs. the Wizards. The news was first reported by ESPN's Marc Stein.

A team source said Rose's turf toe has worsened and he likely will sit out the Wizards' game, the Bulls' third in three nights.

James, 36, had gone to the Development League showcase in Reno, Nevada, merely to see what shape he is in. James played well, and general manager Gar Forman was scouting there.

When Rose's injury worsened overnight, the Bulls made their move.

Saw somewhere CJ likely back next Monday at the earliest. The venerable Mike James is going to get some PT. Just signed the guy. Best I can tell is he is a practice squad type guy who played with the Celtics and Thibs.

Would be better if it was 85-86 Rick James

Check it out. We gonna see some Brewer at point. I set the over/under for his turnovers at 7. Bad night to be playing Wall.

Why not have Deng run some point forward ala late era Scottie Pippen tonight?

The Bulls back to back to back teams are a combined 6-23. They can Lindsey Hunter and win this one:)

I'm not freaking out about it by any means .... It's the Wizards at like game 10 of the season but I am stuck at work at 430 and extremely bored and the board is dead so this seems like a good a place to freak out as any. The Bulls will probably be shut out tonight.

Brewer will be alright. Probably good enough to get through this game.

What up with FavreFan? Acting like he lookin down on us small bull fans.

That's his thing. Sometime in the past I remembered being told I couldn't talk NBA because I didn't have the hoops board cred that you need to post on the Association. So I had to go down to the NBDL board and work on my posting. After a few months of posting about the Fort Wayne Flyers and JamesOn Curry I had my NBA crediblity in tact and I could once again marvel about the artistry of an Omer Asik.

 Nonsense, I just found the reaction funny. The Bulls are still very likely going to win this game, probably comfortably, and its good whenever they are gonna be able to find an extra day off here and there for Rose or some of the other guys this season.

Yeah if you want to look at this from a glass half full perspective at least Thibs won't be able to play Rose for 40 minutes against the worst team in the league.

Any chance the Bulls can sign John Lucas II?

This is going to be ugly tonight. Why not give Jimmy Butler a shot at the point?

Ain't no thang. FavreFan has bull winning by 20. White Mamba might as well play point.

Nah it'll probably be like 92-80. The Wizards are terrible. Douchebag knows this isn't a big deal. Besides, iirc, Mike James could hit threes and shit. Everything's fine.

I swear that I am not trying to be an asshole when I say this, but John Lucas looks exactly like Carlton Banks.
