I would be all for it. John Lucas III is a ball-stopper who simply wants to "get his" every time he's on the floor. James has played about 20 minutes total for the Bulls, but he's a proven veteran who at least appears to have a pass-first mentality.

James would have played the whole end of the game if he didn't foul out.

Mike Jones is my player of the game tonight. He played solid D on Rondo all night. I'm done with the John Lucas Show. He should just never shoot the ball. Many of those shots were woefully short.

I know Mike James wasn't on the ballot to be an all star, but doesn't he have to be included somehow?!?! For the fans!!! Maybe he could hold a rack for someone in the three point contest?

I wanted Mike James to play over JL3 earlier in the year. The team is just better when he is on the floor, even if his stats besides the one game were never pretty.

He showed last night that he's the better option over JL3. He's a much better defender, and a better passer. His shot looked ugly, but Lucas is a chucker, so their offensive ineptness probably cancels each other out.

Personally I think Mike Jerome is the better option as well

You need in put Rose on IR so you can call up a D-League All-Star and keep everyone else.

Also, the offense is far to complex for any regular D-League player, hence my call for the D-League All-Star. The D-League runs a ton of stuff.

I don't think there's an Injured List for the NBA anymore, but Mike James played meaningful minutes before fouling out at the end of their latest win over the Celtics. He's on a 10-day contract, and I think he's got a good case to stay the rest of the way with this Bulls' team as part of the "Bench Mob".

Mike Jones was waived today.

How does JL3 keep hanging around on this roster?

Mike James may have been released yet again, but he could find his way back to the Bulls' roster.

I read somewhere that it is a thank you of sorts back to John Lucas the 2nd, who gave Thibs one of his early coaching gigs many years ago.

That's beautiful. Maybe Doc Rivers has a son who could be on the roster. What a crock of shit.

There's a reason why Mike James is back with the Bulls, this time for the rest of the regular season. Has anyone seen how awful C.J. Watson has been lately?

C.J.'s shot has been off badly, and his ankle is hurting...AGAIN!

Lucas has been the Bulls best PG since Rose has been hurt. Watson's ankle may be the issue but that doesn't explain his horrible shooting. Also if Rose isn't completely healthy he should be forced to sit a few more games.

If Rose & Watson are both out tonight, John Lucas III has a chance to get Kevin Harlan excited. Kevin & Steve Kerr have the call tonight on TNT for Celtics/Bulls @ 8:30p-ish. As for Rose's return, thanks to 2 more off days after tonight, Derrick Martell Rose says he's a go for Sunday in New York.

I like the idea of waiting until Sunday.

It won't be the end of the world if we have to wait until Sunday before Rose plays again. After all, ABC bosses are hoping he plays in New York.

Lucas is terrible.

Way too shooty, and not very goody.

He provides a potential boost off the bench. That helps if Watson is hurt. I've grown to like him. He's fearless.

Fearless and a shooting percentage of 40% is not a good combination. He had a nice little run a couple weeks ago, but he's clearly regressed since the Miami game.

Watson is hurt. In fact, check this out...
