2 years in a row best team in the nba. i love our bench guys too. nobody can say anything bad about garpax now, they clearly know what theyre doing. what a fun season, and to think we did this without our two best starters for a 1/3 of the season EAT THAT POPOVICH |

Thibs would win CoY again. Last year surprised a lot of people but with Rose/Deng/RIP missing so much time this was an even better performance. This team doesn't come close to have the best players but they always find a way to win. That says a lot about the character of the players and how the coach prepares them. My only fear is that he's the type of coach that players may stop listening too after a while. Maybe that won't happen as long as they're successful. |

There's an argument in NBA circles that the Spurs' Gregg Popovich has done just as good a job as Tom Thibodeau here with less down in San Antonio. He might win the award if only because Popovich, despite winning multiple NBA Championships, hasn't won this award. Make no mistake about it. If Coach Thibs wins NBA Coach of the Year again, he'll REALLY have leverage and Uncle Jerry knows it. |
