He'll never be the same player again. That didn't look good. He destroyed the Bulls chances of winning a title. I'm not sure if it's his diet or his DNA but I can't recall seeing an NBA player be that injury prone in a season. Just made a lot of people sick.

I wouldn't say "Glass" so much as "stubborn." He came back early from every one of those injuries, and each early comeback resulted in either an aggravation of the prior injury or the onset of a new injury.

You've also got to take the condensed schedule into consideration here. Lots of variables that have now ultimately resulted in Rose getting hurt once again.

Goff tweets:

Just talked to someone very close to the situation and was told that he's able to put weight on it and "He should be good." Rose set 4 MRI.

OK, so if he gets the all clear to come back, you sit him out for the rest of the series. You take whatever time medical people say he requires and you double it. Put the faith in your team to take care of Philly and let this guy rest.

He didn't play many games. He should be the freshest guy on the court other than RIP. He has to take better care of himself. They may mean getting gummies and other stuff out of his diet and training better during the off season. No championship this season though. It sucks. I'll have to find someone else to root for. Maybe I'll go with the Thunder.

I thought Rose has been off the gummy-worms-and-off-brand-cola diet since his second season. If he relapsed, you can't blame him; no one has ever stabbed oneself eating Fun Dip.

You can still put weight on a blown out knee. Several NFL players walk off the field with a torn ACL. That's not an indication that he's gonna be fine.

Is that the same Goff that tweeted Wade And James signing with the Bulls was imminent? I'll wait for dr. bernstein's diagnosis on Monday afternoon, thank you very much.

I didn't say it was credible, just showing the possibility is there for Rose to be available again this season, even if it is faint.

Like I said, if it's an ACL, trainers know already. They can feel for that.

If it's an MCL, that's 2 weeks minimum.

Could be a mild sprain which is day to day. I doubt that.

Some janitor at the United Center could tell Goff that Jordan is coming back to the Bulls tomorrow and he'd report it. I don't take anything he says seriously. I certainly don't trust the "He's walkin' so he's fine" report.

i think this is a fluke year. kobe went through long stretches of injuries too. he also played for 16 years now and is STILL assassinating everyone. well be fine people

no fuck you :D just think, all this really is, is a learning experience for rose. YES, derrik, there ARE times where you need to just relax and think about staying safe. at the end of a game thats already won is some of those times.

PLUS, i dont think people realize his body is still growing. i think THAT is the real reason he has these weird injuries. hes only 23! give him 3 or 4 more years and all his muscles and tendons will be fully ingrained and much more durable. sure, he has crazy energy right now, but kinda more then he needs

Can't tell if this is a good link or not, or why it would break from Miami, but:

My 2012 NBA prediction:

The Bulls have made it to the Eastern Conference Finals, facing off against their dreaded rival, the Miami Heat. It's game 7 and the Heat are up by 2 with .08 seconds left in the game. Thibs called a time out and the Bulls are at the sideline going over the play.
Boozer, Noah, Hamilton & Deng return to the court. Then, charging out of the locker room, it's Derrick Rose! He rips off his warm-up gear and checks in! The United Center crowd goes nuts!
Noah inbounds the ball to Rose, who jukes past James, rushing towards the 3 pt. line. He shoots... He scores! The Bulls are the Eastern Conference Champions! LeBron James sits on the court, tears flow from his eyes. Confetti falls from heaven, filling Bill Wennington's mouth, choking him to death. The crowd tears his body to pieces and, with Wennington's limbs, starts wailing on Wade, bludgeoning him with rapid tenacity.

I already know to believe the opposite of what Goff says
