If a game is played in Houston, and nobody is around to see it, was it really played?

Anyone else watching?

Who cares, he's a dick anyway.

I wonder if people that poo-poo Harden actually watch games.

Kirk the Dribbler has already about worn on me for the year .... when do pitchers and catchers report?

Is it okay for us to stop pretending Jeremy Lin is an NBA point guard now? Seriously.

He's an average NBA PG. Nothing wrong with that.

Bulls basketball is just dreadful. Even when the games are close, the play is just so sloppy and clunky. I'm about to watch a real game. I don't really care who wins this. This ain't entertaining me.

I like to think it was a signing to appease some idiot not as talent acquisition but as someone who thought there was some little bit of a PR boost to be found from Linsanity. I like to think that, by Christmas, that idiot will have been killed in front of the rest of the organization as an example to beware of in the future.

I occasionally find myself concerned for Thibs. It's not his fault the Bulls couldn't resign everyone from the bench mob and that he's stuck with more of a bench stench this year. Worse still, what happens when Derrick comes back and nothing significant happens - whether D is all good or forever tainted. How much of the Bulls misfortune falls on Thibs - not in fans' eyes but as future employers' eyes? I never really disliked Skiles, was sad to see him go, was happy to get Thibs to replace .... we should be so lucky to see a good coach ousted and have such an excellent replacement jump right in. I'm rambling, but it's because it's the end of a Bulls game and, shit, what else is there to do?

I understand your concern for Thibs. When Derrick comes back, I have no reason to believe he won't get back to form. The problem is, the team around him is now worse than at their peak in 2010-11. So essentially, you'll have an All-Star player surrounded by garbage. The front office is hamstrung right now with some bad money and I don't see them being able to put any stars around Rose in the near future. The only guy I can see taking the fall would be Thibs unfortunately.

I never liked Skiles though. Similar coaching philosophy as Thibs, but by all accounts just a huge raving asswipe.

I wonder why Hamilton never sees the court in crunch time when they need offense?

Thibs would be able to pick his next job if the Bulls were stupid enough to let him go.

I don't get that either. He's probably the only person on the roster right now that can get his own shot or get to the line, which is what this team desperately needs in crunch time. But Thibs doesn't let him on the floor in the 4th quarter. They've had a bunch of close losses this year for the same reasons, and Thibs won't change the crunch time rotations.

Yeah what he said. The Bulls should never even consider letting Thibs go. He is doing the best he can with the team the has been given.

I hate the fact that any time someone other than the point GUARD has the ball, it's usually a free-candy sort of steal for the opposing team. That's why they dribble out the shot clock so fucking much. Hinrich and Nate can't pass the ball to anybody unless it leads DIRECTLY to a shot attempt or score. That's hard to do on every possession. Learn how to dribble, Luol, Butler, and Taj. The point GUARD shouldn't be a ball-stopper, they should make the offense flow. But that's not what we have.

And Jimmy Butler...please work on your jumpshot. You're a 6'7" small forward. You should be able to reliably knock down a 15 to 17-footer at this point.
