Recently cut by the Mavs. Bulls are supposedly talking to him. He couldn't hurt that sorry ass bench, and maybe another PF that can give you 20 mpg would convince Thibs he needs to go with a more unconventional lineup at times in order to make sure Noah doesn't completely breakdown by February. Thoughts?

True, I guess he can be the 12th man on the roster.

He used to be somewhat of a poor man's Dirk Nowitski, but those days are long behind him. He's got nothing significant left to give to any team.

That's how bad it has become....and it's only November!

Reminds me of the fans clamoring for Josh Beakman to play on the O-Line for the Da Bears a year or two ago. Or possibly Cubs fans thinking Fred McGriff would be their salvation.

That was one of my lowest moments of Cub fandom.

Remember when he was making the Cubs wait on whether he was going to agree to the trade?

Then he got here, and grounded into about 6,000 double plays in about a season and half.

He made Paul Konerko look like Usain Bolt. I never saw someone that slow.

McGriff at 1st. Don Baylor in the dugout. Joe Carter in the booth. That was a fun year.

I missed this thread somehow. No way. Troy Murphy has been completely useless for the last two seasons. I have no idea why teams keep giving him a chance. he's a bigger Brad Lohaus.

The only way Troy Murphy joins this uneven roster is if the Bulls pay him very little. They're right up against the salary cap as is now, and Uncle Jerry doesn't want to pay the luxury tax. It's not happening, guys.
