It's a little disappointing that the Bulls could not play better after being the Knicks on the road they have laid a couple eggs in the last two games. Nice to see Nate Robinson and Teague play some extended minutes if losing was inevitable.

Watching the Lakers, Heat, and Rockets win their games sure sucked. At least Blake Griffin was triumphant, and Jay-Z's team lost.

The Clippers now have a 14-game win streak after their 112-100 win over Denver last night, CH. You read that right...A 14-game win streak for the Clippers!

They may have something with Teague at the point and Nate at the 2 for a second unit when Rose returns. Hinrich plays defense but he can't barely score. I'd like Jimmy Butler out there too with Taj Gibson. The Bulls really need a backup center who can get some playing time.

By the way, when did Omer get good?

Don't care for Jay-Z?

Mini, he was good when he was here, but Omer Asik still would've been a backup center to Joakim Noah had the Bulls matched the Rockets' offer sheet.

From an economics standpoint, the Bulls would've been in what Uncle Jerry doesn't want right now if the Bulls matched the Asik offer. That's the dreaded luxury tax threshold, which Uncle Jerry, as in Bulls' Owner/Chairman Jerry Reinsdorf, has made no secret. Unless the Bulls are close to winning an NBA Championship, the Bulls aren't about to pay the tax. This Bulls' team isn't closer to bridging the gap with the NBA Champions from Miami as is.

As far as Asik with the Rockets are concerned, he may have had a monster night with 20 points & 18 rebounds in Houston's 120-97 branding over the Bulls last night, but Houston isn't closer to bridging the gap with Oklahoma City, San Antonio & yes, even the Los Angeles Clippers, in the top heavy Western Conference. Over the long haul, they'll regret paying Asik & Jeremy Lin all that money right now. You'll see.

It ain't the late 90's anymore, my man.

:| I was never that big a fan of his music.

I'm just wondering why Jay-Z partially owning the Nets causes Curious Hair to root against them.

Whatever. I just don't see the basketball connection. That's all.

I don't think there's a connection between Jay-Z, his music and the Brooklyn Nets. They're not as good as many thought...The Nets, I mean.

Every time I've heard a Jay-Z song in the last however many years, it's just been him yelling about buying things and owning things. No one has ever made great music by trumpeting one's own diversified investment portfolio. He's plumbing depths of bad not reached since "Life's Been Good" by Joe Walsh. He singlehandedly ruined not one but two Rihanna songs! Therefore, I must wish ill upon the team he owns like 0.03% of.

I hate their uniforms, too. They look like the Wal-Mart Spurs.

Okay. I was just wondering why. Thanks Curious.

Personally I like the Nets roster, but it's beginning to look like Avery Johnson is the problem.

"Ran into a Rothko in my restroom,
Singer-slash-actress in my bedroom

I talk big money, I talk big homes,
I sell out arenas, I call that getting dome."

"I have a mansion, forget the price.
Ain't never been there, they tell me it's nice.
I live in hotels, tear out the walls.
I have accountants pay for it all."

This could be the same song.

Speaking of bad uniforms, the Bulls ones from last night had to be the worst I've seen recently.

I remember there was one year where the Bulls wore green jerseys for St. Patrick's Day, which is bad enough, then two weeks later wore another set of green jerseys in a slightly different shade of green to promote environmental awareness. God, it's like watching the fucking Kane County Cougars.

Much like with hockey, I'm starting to become annoyed with the NBA trend of home teams wearing colors and road teams wearing white.

The last time you bought/owned a Bulls jersey was it the red or the white jersey?

It's bad especially when they design jerseys to say the nickname on the home jersey and the more formal city name on the road jersey. I like that distinction, and wish the Bulls would go back to it (either the way it looks on the black jerseys or the White Sox-ish script that you see Jordan wearing in really old pictures).

No, I get why they do it. The colors are obviously more marketable. It just offends my old school sensibilities.

Ah, the Orlando Woolridge era uniforms. Yeah, those were cool.

Yeah, this one.

Considering the fact that our star player is from the city, having Chicago on a main jersey seems like a natural progression.

Those two songs were already absolutely, god-fucking awful. It didn't take Jay-Z to make them bad.
