i watch it online via any stream i can find. i paid for nba broadband for two seasons and it was a fucking joke. they only broadcast the games that arent on some other channel, cable, or even nbatv. you pay $200 for about 40 games and most of them are away games so you get the other teams announcers.

fuck nba league pass. when you pay for something but they dont even let you have it, just fuck that shit.

So wait.... league pass / broadband won't show you games that are on NBATV? Do you get NBA TV if you pay for the package? I don't normally get it (MLB network is the only network in the sports pckg that makes me =[ )

Cuz if they black out games beyond ABC/ESPN/TNT/local-shit then that's total YOU.ARE.A.JAG.BAG. territory. We're gonna have to bring back NORT'S caning segment to dispense justice.

i dont know, but if you do get nba tv you would need cable first, and i dont want that. i like over the air tv and netflix. any other show i want i just wait until the season is over and find a store to buy it from.

but nba league pass is insufferable. even when you get a game you paid for, the video quality sucks. its clear, sure, but the motion is weird... it doesnt look like normal tv. 3rd party streams might not be as clear or fluid, but at least i can get every game and i can always go to the same place to watch them all.

its been like this for years too. first time i got league pass broadband was probably 5 years ago. just last year, it had not changed a single bit on the interface, and there were twice the blackouts even though i moved out of the regional blackout zone. like i said, its shit every way you look at it. they have no idea how to make money online.

Damn, Jimmy Butler just stuck a nice baseline J off of a 1-2 dribble shimmy move. If he could develop any sort of a competent ~15ppg type game off of the dribble, that would go a long way towards making this team better for the foreseeable future. All in all, Derrick wasn't wrong when he said that Jimmy Butler could play. Right now he's a somewhat refined "spaz" to use a bernsteinian term, but hey, we can dream.... can't we?

NHL does the same thing with Center Ice/Gamecenter. If a game is on the NHL Network, you can't watch it out-of-market, even though NHL-N doesn't produce its own telecasts (just picks up locals) and isn't on a lot of cable systems, and when it is it's extended-tier, but technically it's still a "nationally available game." Bullshit.

Of the four out-of-market packages, League Pass has to have the worst bang for your buck. TNT/ESPN/ABC combine for as many as seven games a week featuring relevant teams, there are about 15 Bulls games a year on WGN America, and to be quite honest you can get away with not watching every single regular season game your team plays unless you're like some ultrafan. Sunday Ticket is kind of pointless too given all the football we can get, but if you're a Raiders fan these days, you do probably want to see your team on more occasions than the back end of the Week 1 Monday doubleheader.

If I still liked baseball as much as I did from about 2002-2008 I would totally pig out on Extra Innings/mlb.tv.

I think the problem is the black out rules, which make subscribing to any of the services difficult, except for the NFL. When they make NFL Sunday Ticket free with everyone's Direct TV subscription I think that was a deal sealer for a lot of people.

LOL KS we must have saw the same baseline shot that airballed and decided to come here and vent our frustrations.

Seriously, when you're a six foot tall little shit of a chucker, there comes a point where having the fearlessness to chuck it up there is prolly what's gotten/kept you in the NBA for this long, but holy shit he just takes some god-awful shots that make you wonder if he's anything more than a desperation/PARGOTIME!!!! type player on a serious contender. cuz like, holy fuck this guy's shot selection offends my basketball sensibilities. if he had even like 33% more discresion when he shoots he'd be 2x the player that he is, cuz holy shit i don't trust him down the stretch to not shoot me out of the ballgame.

i hope the bulls can win this but i doubt it unless they can establish some offense. and right on cue jimmy butler does a fadeaway in the post when he could have faked that and walked to a layup if he was so inclined.

well, i'll be damned. nate robinson has led them to a very probable win (93-89 with 8.6 seconds left)
