Who plays first this season? D-Rose or Bynum? I'll hang up and wait for my answer. Bulls win by 27. Doug Collins quits after game. |

I don't think Bynum will play this year. I guess Rose might not either though. The Bulls better not lose this game. |

Keeping Score wrote: I really do feel for Doug. They lost Vucevic, Iguodala and Harkless, and haven't gotten a minute out of Bynum. Now he's stuck with a guy with impossibly bad knees, not to mention a guy whom many observers say they've never seen a guy care less about basketball than Bynum. It doesn't help that Vucevic is basically playing at an all-star level at the center position. Doug tortures himself paying attention to the exploits of those three that left. |

Damn, what a game. 21-20-11 with blocks right now. Sad thing is we've needed every part of it. |

Keeping Score wrote: Do Doug and the Sixers mutually agree to part ways after tonight? I do enjoy hearing him on NBA broadcasts. Maybe not tonight, but probably after the season. Does anyone remember when he was rumored to be the Bulls coach a few years ago? I wonder how that would have worked out. |

I can't believe Collins wanted Bynum knowing his injury history. I guess they figured gamble for a year and if no good, they clear salary given he is an UFA. |

Hard to see Collins not being involved in the decision but you never know. Obviously it has failed miserably. |

KS, with all due respect to onetime former Bull Greg Anthony, who called the NBA/TNT game with Kevin Harlan last night, I think Doug Collins' next job will be with Turner Sports as Kevin's primary analyst next season. Collins is morphing into Dick Vermeil right before my eyes. If he never coaches again after this season, I wouldn't be shocked one bit. |
