because if he comes back and shows a couple games that he can still play, he becomes huge trade bait. hes not bringing us past lebron or durant... so get rid of him now and suck as hard as you can for the next two seasons. that should equate to 3 lotto picks plus whatever you get for rose, which is hopefully another lotto pick if he gets hurt on whatever team he goes to. thats a chance at 4 lotto picks in the next 3 years. i think that is about what it will take to become a contending team. |

His surgeries were April 28th and May 12th. So not even 11 months yet. If he were to come back tomorrow and injure himself again and be out another extended period of time the same people would be chastising him for not thinking about the long term benefit of the team. |

Life is much much easier when I let Dan do all of my critical thinking. I'm a smarter and consequently better fan for it. |

If he doesn't feel confident on it, it's like he will adjust his play style, body angles/positions etc to something that doesn't come natural. Not unreasonable to think that'll cause future problems. He tore his ACL Chicago. It's a year. That's the rule. |
