It's getting out of hand. He's crossing several lines and apparently getting away with it. Can't watch with him, can't root with him, can't win with him. Can't do it. I'm offering Kid's Bulls fandom and a fan to be named later for Hawger's fandom. Let me know KS. |

It's the reason the Bulls have struggled. They feed off of the collective positive energy of the fans. Kid Cairo's negativity has adversely affected this team and I think he should pay. Nazr Mohammed and Nate Robinson are gonna git you sucka. |

That is just how Kid rolls as a fan. He does it with the Sox. He does it with the Bulls. The first sign of something bad happening and he abandons ship. |

Maybe Kid needs to join in when the fans sing "We Will Rock You"...or at least give a shout during "Rock N Roll Part II". |

It's like y'all have been watching a different Bulls team since January than I have. |

This team is unwatchable at this point, and I'm not even sure they'd be contenders with a healthy DRose. For me, I've pretty much given up following until Rose comes back. And even then, can't see them competing with the top teams in the East. |

I don't get all the negativity on the Bulls team. Without Derrick and all their players healthy they as good or better than everyone in the East except for Miami and possibly Indiana. In the West they are better than everyone in the West except for the top 5 seeds and Houston has given them problems. The Bulls recent problems have been due to Hinrich, Gibson and Hamilton not playing. Not to mention that they played just about every good team in the league in February and most of them on the road. The reason why the Bulls struggle is that they do not have the offensive firepower to hang with a lot of the Western Conference teams and Boozer and Robinson play poor defense. If the Bulls are going to beat any playoff teams they have to do it by playing solid defense, rebounding, passing the ball on offense and rebounding offensively. They have to keep the score low and they have to grind out the games. |

Mini Ditka wrote: The reason why the Bulls struggle is that they do not have the offensive firepower to hang with a lot of the Western Conference teams Correct. And that doesn't change with Derrick Rose in the lineup either. The only reason they won two series in 2011 is because, and I'm actually pretty sick of saying this, THEY HAD A BETTER SUPPORTING CAST TWO YEARS AGO. |

I kind of think that Boston grinded out a couple series last year and was one game from the Finals. I'm willing to give you slightly better because they don't have Asik anymore and his defense at the end of games was very important. Hamilton is better than Bogans. Hinrich is a better backup point guard in terms of defense and running the offense than CJ Watson and all the other guys are pretty comparable. The big thing is the Bulls don't know what they can do in the playoffs because Rose isn't on the court. If he's back and can play even 80 percent they'll probably go to the Eastern Conference Finals. If he's not back they may get there anyway if they don't end up as a 4/5 or 8 seed. |

Mini Ditka wrote: Hamilton is better than Bogans. Wrong. What has Hamilton showed in nearly two seasons here besides proving that he is completely washed up? At least Bogans could get on the court, provide solid D, and knock down the occiasional 3. Mini Ditka wrote: Hinrich is a better backup point guard in terms of defense and running the offense than CJ Watson Wrong again. Hinrich is made of glass. |

It doesn't really matter if they're hurt during the regular season as long as they can play in the playoffs. |

C.J. is better at this point in all phases than Hinrich. This isn't 2005. Kirk was a good player in 2005. In 2013, C.J. Watson is a better player. |

What bothers me is when the officials review a play and they still get it wrong. That was a fantastic tip by Noah and it's a shame that it didn't count. |

How can you say that type of basketball doesn't win playoff series? The Mavs won a title in 2011 playing that way. Ditto Celtics in 2008. Pistons in 2004. The Spurs in '99, '03, '05, and '07. You win playoff games by rebounding, playing great team defense, and making a few clutch shots. If offensive firepower was the key to winning in the playoffs the SSOL Suns wouldn't be ringless. |

If offensive firepower was the key to winning in the playoffs the SSOL Suns wouldn't be ringless. The difference Farvio, is that of all those teams you mentioned, they all had one thing in common: they could get baskets when they needed. Quite simply in a playoff series when the other team is clamping down defensively, there are 54 seconds in the 4th quarter, you're down two scores, and Derrick Rose is being double-teamed, how do you respond offensively? That's what I'm talking about. Those Spurs could ride Ginobili or Horry or Parker's offense. Back in '04, Rip Hamilton and Chauncey still had the ability to take over games offensively. The '08 Celtics had Paul Pierce playing out of his damn mind, and Garnett still had an all-around offensive game too, not to mention Ray Allen's shooting. The 2011 Mavs had Dirk and Jason Terry, who was the second most important player on that team. What I'm saying is, offensively, the Bulls still only have Derrick Rose and....? Yeah, you can't win a title like that. Sorry. Eventually you have to put the ball in the basket. |
