Chicago Bulls Rumors: Derrick Rose to Return Monday Against the Denver Nuggets

D Rose should be ashamed of himself. I don't know who is advising him to not play, but Derrick would be wise to fire him. I'm surprised the fan backlash isn't bigger that it is, given how Chicago fans react to situations like this, (Cutler). Derrick is a pussy.

I just love that Cutler was seen walking into a restaurant after the NFC championship game and not only Chicago, but the nation decided he is a goldbricking, primadonna, son of a bitch asshole.

Rose has been cleared by doctors to play and the media are tripping over themselves to justify why he is right.

I've never said this before but Ike is 100% correct in everything he has said.

You're right, and I've seen good solid arguments on both sides of the issue. I still haven't really decided how to feel. I think I'll wait awhile and allow hindsight to direct me later on.

I pounced on Derrick the day he was cleared to play & he said that he wouldn't play. If Derrick was on the Miami Heat, Chicago people would be ripping the shit out of him. Why the double standard?
I expect a guy with as much money as Derrick to hire intelligent people who know more about finances & public relations than he does. I'll say it again...it is bad business for someone like Derrick to entrust his career to an unqualified Family member like his dumb ass Brother.

I've had a ton of patience with the guy, but my patience is starting to wane. If he's not back in this next 3 game stretch, then I'm fully on board the Derrick Rose douchebag nomination bandwagon.

Yes, I understand this is a lost season, and with or without him, they have zero chance of winning a title, but I don't want to see the guy sit out 18 months of basketball. I think that will have an effect on him, and any time he spends on the floor this season to shake off the rust is a good thing. With that being said, if he comes back, and there's is any discomfort whatsoever in the knee, I would shut him down immediately, no questions asked.

I would just like to see a bit of entertaining basketball in the last stretch of the season. I watch most of the games, and this season has been tough to swallow. If Rose can come back, maybe they can make a run on the division title. I'd be fine with that, and just being competitive in the playoffs.

But I'm with you, OKC. I see both sides of the argument, and me wanting him to play is more for selfish reasons, and I'm fine with that.

Can Rose go on a rehab assignment to Iowa? or is he too important to do that? Would Adidas not want Hashtag The Return Mixed Case No Spaces to be sullied by some cowtown pre-return? Seems like it would be better to ease him in that way than to expect him to come back after all this and start a game like nothing happened.

I don't think you can designate an NBA player for assignment. Are there even D-League affiliates for NBA teams?
