I'm a bit down on them right now. They will outrun young teams but struggle with younger teams who can keep up with them. They still need that scorer that is a go to, rather than hoping one person gets hot to win. |

They don't have that guy who takes over a game still. I think it might take them another 10 games or so to really find out who they are. Even Skiles isn't for sure what the best group on the floor gives them the bast chance to win at the moment. I think they'll be the best team of the second half of the season. First half will definitely have its bumps. |

I'll let you know at the end of this 7 game road trip. If they can win at least 4, I think they can be a top team in the east... |

3-3 heading West for 7 straight. If they can come back 6-7, they're looking great. |

Not all of the games are out West...I think they've bot one in New York and maybe one in Phillie...but I get your point. |

All I ever read about after a Bulls loss is about there lack of effort. I think they put to much stock in Kirk Hinrich. He's not as good as they want him to be. |

Hinrich isn't the problem - outside of the foul trouble that he does get into, he's playing very well - shooting over 50% to start the season. The problem is they are too dependent on jump shooting still, and when you're not making those shots, you're going to look like you don't have much energy. Ben Gordon, A.Nocioni, B.Wallace have all been up and down early on - they need to be consistent each night for the Bulls to get this going in the right direction. |

Every time I turn on a Bulls game I see one of the opponent's guards dribbling past Gordon or Hinrich. I don't care what Hinrich's reputation is as a defender--he has been brutal this season, and was for much of last season as well. Gordon, meanwhile, seems to think that the "trail" technique is the best way to guard his man. These guys are awful. And here's a stat to put their abysmal defense in perspective: On last night's broadcast, one of the ESPN guys pointed out that the Bulls let San Antonio "blow by" their perimeter defense 58 TIMES in the previous game. That's mind-blowing. There's absolutely no way you can win playing like that. |

This team will NOT make the playoffs. This team will NOT finish over .500. |

They started off slow the last two years...I think they'll be fine...47-49 wins. It's still early. |

That's true Bulldog. Particularly in 2004 when they started 0-9. In any event, the Bullz are officially on my pay-no-mind list for right now. Maybe I'll check back when they decide to guard somebody. |

I agree.. every fall, I look hopefully to enjoying the sporting events at the UC.. by mid november, both teams normally move into the "don't care" compartment of my brain. Of course, the hawks came out of the gate quickly and nearly sucked me back in.. that didn't last long..so I'll take in my quota of hockey games at the new Sears Centre.. |

The Bulls are the best team in the leauge at turning a 12 point loss in to a 4 point loss in the final 2 minutes. Congraulations, guys! |

Yeah, this trip sucked, but it was a ridiculous road trip, it's early in the season, and things will get better once we get some home games, and are able to establish a player rotation. |
