nah. hes proven he sucks on most teams half the time. he just fits in chicago. thibs knows how to coach him. it works, and i think hes staying for a significant raise. he has earned it.

Nate can light it up like today,he can also look like a guy you signed off a playground. He would make a great 6th man though.

During Game 3 on Thursday night, Rose sat next to Taj Gibson and Outside Shot asked Gibson for some insight on the things that Rose is saying while sitting on the bench with his team.

“He just talks about basketball. Simple stuff,” said Gibson. “He’s yelling plays out. He knows everything and he calls it out to us on the court. He’s really into telling guys to pick it up on offense and defense. He’s just like an extra set of eyes out there and talking to us from a point guard’s point of view.”

As Rose continues to come under fire, his toughness questioned by the same fans who once adored him, his visibility on the bench can be seen through two different prisms. Thibodeau said Rose had taken well to his role as a cheerleader and coach. But as Rose jumped up and down on the sidelines during a run by the Bulls in Game 2, it also served as a reminder of what could be if he were in sneakers instead of loafers.

I don't think he'd play if the Bulls made the NBA Finals. The Bulls management probably doesn't want him out there trying to play without having played at all in the regular season. Honestly I don't want him to play either because you can't just throw him on the floor now when he hasn't played with this team all season. He needs to work himself back into shape with 10 to 20 minute games before he can go 40 minutes.

My question is why can all these other players come back in less than a year and he can't? Our first clue he wasn't coming back was when he said he had to be 100 percent? Nobody coming back from a knee injury is 100 percent in the first year. The guys who have had it in the NBA said it took two years after they first had the injury.
