Seriously. Just been over the last 4 or 5 games. He's got a baby hook. He can go left off the dribble and finish. He's hitting 15 footers. It's amazing. He never had this shit. |

He's improved incrementally each year and put it together and you have a good offensive game. He's had games like this for the last few seasons but not consistently |

His best offense is still off a rebound. That's fine by me. |

He's very good. He's had sneaky offensive game for a while. It kind of waxes and wanes, but when he's in top form, he's an elite player. There was worry about his contract, but he's clearly worth it. |

I didnt want the Bulls to draft him. I didnt want him to ever shoot the ball except for put backs. He's now one of my favorite Bulls ever. Best Bulls Center ever? I cant think of a better one. |

He never had this shit. yeah, joakim has put in work on his "offensive game" for sure.... i mean was it a year or two ago that he started flagrantly trying to hit ~17 foot set jumpers from the key? lord knows he was passed over on defensive rotations enough to try and add that ~17ft set shot to his repetoire, and he hits a fair amount of them (~33-40% i'd guess) but like, yeah, to join in the echo chamber pretty much he's put in work on some of the minutiae and it shows. when he first was drafted i think it was b&b that boldly declared him "tyson chandler with hands" and well, obviously his FIRE AND PASHIN is well beyond tyson (ask any kool-aid-free knicks fan) but like, given that he's "tyson chandler with hands" if you stop and think about it, what you're seeing is pretty much the best case scenario for a "tyson chandler with hands" and a bit beyond that if you factor in his aforementioned set ~17ft jumper. |

btw, speaking of DA FIRE AND DA PASHIN if soccer was at all on b&b's radar they'd have a field day later this year with cardiff city getting into the premier league... |

double post? how's that even possible? must be something to do with the fact that when someone bitched about the logouts it was immediately fixed.... BOARD RULES R RELAXED OMFG GUISE LETZ TROLLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! </eduard kuhn> also, thanks to beardown for making another thread highly relevant to my interests and totally worthy of its own thread. i guess since the guy never responds to me i can slag off on him some by saying HOLY SHIT is the guy a primadonna.... whenever he has a decent thought there's a 66% chance that it deserves its own thread cuz sometimes he's too good to roll in another thread whose title might not be exactly what he's posting about, but he definitely thinks that there ought to be a proper beardown thread re: many topics because you seriously haven't gotten all of the wit perspective and candor that you can get about topic X unless you've checked out the beardown thread on it. 1000 CLUB REPRESENT! |

I still like Tyson Chandler. Dude doesnt even have to shoot to change a game. Not a very high basketball IQ though. |

He didn't think he'd have to be a maximum effort guy to be good in the league. When he figured out how he would make his money, about 1/3 into his second season, a light clicked on and he was different. He came back in year 3 with definition in his arms and in great shape to play 30+ hard minutes per game. He went from a guy I despised to a guy I loved. |

He was in a cancerous locker room, and when he called guys out, they decided to suspend him. Cleaning out all that garbage definitely helped. |

My feelings mirror yours, Mr. Belvidere. I freaked out when the Bulls drafted Noah because he seemed like a complete douche with little or no offensive talent. From what I've heard and read, he came to the Bulls with an inflated ego due to his success at Florida, but his "arrogance" wasn't really representative of his personality. For most of his life he was known to his coaches and teammates as a really humble, hard-working and generous guy with a big heart and a great sense of humor. Apparently his difficult rookie season brought him back down to Earth and he quickly rediscovered himself--and the aspects of his character that made him successful in the first place. He's absolutely now one of my all-time favorite Bulls. |

I wanted Spencer Hawes because he had a superior offensive game. That looks pretty stupid now. |

Almost no one was in favor of that pick. I was all about Horford, even though I knew they couldnt get him. I felt like we got the Ogunleye/Noah to JasonTaylor/Horford |
