In regard to Rose, couldn't it be possible...

...POSSIBLE...

...that Rose is simply refusing to trust the Bulls team doctors who have a history of clearing players to return much too soon?

For example, in Game 3 of the 2011 Eastern Conference Finals, Omer Asik broke his leg. Bulls team doctors cleared him to play in Game 4.

In 2009, Loul Deng's injuries were considered "meh" by team doctors. In a statement from the team, Deng was encouraged to "challenge himself physically". Deng decided on getting an outside medical opinion and proceed to sit out months as opposed to days.

Maybe, just maybe, we should analyze, scrutinize and demonize the old white guys in charge of the most injury-riddled franchise in the NBA playoffs rather than the young black kid who may be a victim of their collective incompetence.

the rest of the article is even better. apparently, derrick is not a pussy... whatever

I'd say it was possible if it weren't outside the most conservative estimates of recovery time for a normal human being for a fairly commonplace procedure.

Believing that he is not physically able is to believe that a young, professional athelete with the most diligent of rehabilitation specialists has a slower recovery time than the average couch jockey. It's possible.
