GarPax has been going for all shooters. I like it. They clearly understood the weakness on this team, and they seem to be doing what they can with limited resources to address it. I'm really looking forward to next season.

Agree. All the shooters you can get. You can find a big oaf to back up Noah.

I am too. I would love a backup center under 50.

I'd like to see them get creative and try to go small more often during the regular season next year, but I don't see Thibs going that way. It would save Noah and Nazr some valuable minutes.

JR can go suck a cock. This team is going nowhere.

They can't make it official until July 10th, but the Bulls have reportedly agreed on deals with Mike Dunleavy, Jr., most recently with Milwaukee I do believe, as well as Mike Miller from the NBA Champion Heat.

FavreFan and or Nas or anyone else for that matter...did you see Snell play at UNM? If so, who can you compare him with? The dude seemed a step slow for the NBA. He played well, but I never would have envisioned him going in the first round of the draft and was surprised when he went hardship and made himself available.

The Bulls can go for a shooting guard, but if he can't get a shot off does it mean anything? I compared his style to the Bogans type load up, take a deep breath and let her fly type three point shooter. He has long arms and was a decently coached defensive player, but the shooting was streaky as hell. In comparison, Butler stood out to me in college. I personally would not have drafted the guy, but he stood out as a player that made a difference on his team in meaningful games. Snell was more the bum slayer in supposedly "strong" MWC (what a misnomer) this last year.

Granted, this may be a personal issue, and yes I have many. It pained me to see this guy get drafted by the Bulls. I don't want to see him fail, but am now going to be forced to watch him fail on TV, the message boards, sportz talk radio...and the hilariously tragic Jim Rose interviews for the next several years.

I did not watch him play in college.

But for what it is worth NBADraft.net had his NBA comparison to Wesley Person.

I probably saw him play but I don't recall. He appears to be a good fit and the type of guy Thibs can coach up. I don't expect a Taj Gibson type of impact this season.

I didn't watch him in college either, so I'm kinda taking a Bernstein-ish approach and looking at it like this: We needed a shooter, and we drafted one. We'll see if he's any good in the next couple years. I'm fine with the pick.

I feel the same way about Snell that I felt about Charles Smith of UNM. Who you might ask?

Dude was drafted by Riley and didn't pan out. Both are a little bit of a head case.

The wikipedia on Snell does not offer flattering remarks (I hadn't seen them before typing today), and it is similar to my thoughts after watching live. Me thinks Adams may have voiced some displeasure in this choice and I can see why.

You ever hoped you were wrong about something? Hope I am wrong.

That's good stuff on Snell. I can't really disagree with the adding shooters approach, but I'm still disappointed management thinks they can get by with only one guy with a proven dribble drive game. How many Rose rests will be interrupted once the offense goes stagnant because no one is getting to the rim and these shooters can't get past their men?

I don't want Mike Miller anywhere near this team.

Good for him. I believe this could be the best bench the Bulls have had under Thibs but it doesn't have that guy who can come off the bench and provide instant offense.

Outside of Rose, that pretty much describes the starting lineup as well...
