GODDAMMIT... man i had just dumped all kinds of stats to support my thesis that the bulls lost because they're the team with derrick rose tonight, cuz tonight's insipid 4/14 13pts **8** turnover game = killing you when your team's whole fucking offense is predicated upon "give the ball to derrick and pray" look at these up-to-date seaosn stats for derrick: Derrick Rose 14.3 PT .288 of 17.3 FG .900 of 3.3 FT .267 of 5.0 3P 3.7/1.7 RB 4.33 AS 0.00 BL 0.00 ST 5.67 TO 2.00 PF 33.5 MN 3/3 GS he's shooting 28.8% from the field, and that's AVERAGING 17 shots per game? yikes. so when you come across a kid with a hot hand like michael carter-will tonight Michael Carter-Williams 26 PT 10-22 FG 4-5 FT 2-5 3P 4/3 RB 10 AS 0 BL 3 ST 4 TO 1 PF 37 MN (Final, Bulls) see, if derrick's gonna volume-chuck it you gotta at least have SPURTS where you're doing the 46.8% that MCW has through three games, otherwise if your team is counting on you to be the go-to-guy down the stretch (cuz i heard the philly announcers say that boozer was on the bench with 22/10 at the ~8min mark of the 4th quarter. total bumslayer) and the whole team's offense is the occasional novelty play to get someone a shot, otherwise it's "go get us a basket derrick" and he's shooting 28.8%?!?! yeah. dude.... bernstein's 20/20 hindsight will remind us that he was correct in that derrick needed to get that rust off last year cuz man, you're gonna bury yourself to a lower seed that faces the heat in the eastern semis if you keep fucking around like this. the knicks and pacers will definitely be the 2/3 seeds and damn you to a fate of a quick 2nd round out if you don't start handling business. * pounds table * SHOMER SHABBOS! /me sighs |

Bulls got this... They had the Sixers down 20 like they should be. Not sure how they came back and won. I still don't care this early. They're still getting used to one another against real competition, plus incorporating Dunleavy, etc. |
