I really like this. I'm probably alone but I believe we'll look back on this as a key signing.

his NBA career was hanging by a thread, so he knew he had to show well in this opportunity. He has and so it was a good fit for him and for the Bulls. He will definitely help them to more wins that they would have had without him and it cost the team nothing except perhaps a better draft pick after the season. Will the Bulls even make the playoffs because of his help? I can see a 7th or 8th playoff seed being won, for whatever it's worth. Still doesn't make the team worth watching.

I wouldn't say that his career was hanging by a thread, Steve. What happened was he was in Toronto, and the Raptors are trying to tank (which they are doing a terrible job of by winning a lot, lately). If you look at Augustin's career numbers, he's always been a 10 pts/5 ast type of player as long as he got decent playing time.
