That game was closer than it needed to be. It's like they quite playing interior defense with 8 minutes left in the game. If Thomas could make a couple free throws he'd have had 18-19 points. He still had a real nice game. Wallace is finally clicking. There was a period there where he was getting every single rebound. I'm liking what I see from the team these days. Wallace and Thomas are really active underneath when they are in there together. |

He's really showing up as advertised these days. I'm hoping it just took him a month or so to get used to a new team and we can expect this every night. Well, maybe not 27 boards, but I'll take 14-16 boards, 8-10 points, 3 blocks, 6 assists. I'm not greedy or anything. |

Wallace will be fine. Too much was made early with his struggles; the entire team needed to gel. |

I think you're right Matt. Wallace will be fine. I was panicked during the first month because I couldn't remember him looking as bad as he did then. I have a good feeling about Tyrus. I think this kid'll become a superstar right here in Chicago in a few years. |

I am not quite sure why but it's probably matchup based, but the thing that I wonder outloud is if Skiles is actually hurting Thomas by not playing him more consistently in the rotation. Look at minutes played in the last 5 games: 22 last night (14 pts, 10 boards) 1 minute in the blowout vs. Seattle 1 minute in the blowout vs Indiana 6 minutes in the blowout loss vs Minnesota (2 pts, 3 boards) DNP vs Toronto Most nights Skiles will call out Malik Allen before Tyrus Thomas. After seeing him for the first games of the year, I'd probably bring Tyrus in for at 10 minutes a night to give me energy off the bench in the first 4-6 mins of the second and fourth quarters, but then again, I'm not an NBA coach. |

I think the broken nose set Thomas back a few weeks. I sure like his upside though. Once he learns to play and not rely totally on his athleticism he will be force. The D still concerns me. The Bull have given up way to many points to mediocre teams. I hope it tightens up soon and I think it will. Wallace seems to be getting more comfortable each game and the rest of the team is learning to play with him. |

I thought it was nice to see Tyrus get some run during crunch time. I thought it was a test by Skiles to see how he would respond. He was OK (but brutal from the line). If he improves there he's in business, because he can really attack the basket. |

Thomas does get into foul trouble a lot, so, at times, it is difficult to get him on the court for extended minutes. |

Yeah, and I don't know if you watched the game, but King was pointing out how, on offense, he was frequently out of position, and actually hindering the offense. His athleticism is outstanding, but he needs polish; don't worry about it too much, Skiles will slowly work him in there and get him the experience he needs. It's nice that the Bulls have the luxury of working him in slowly, building future stars as the current team succeeds. |
