Last night he just showed why he's the most overrated coach in the league by a mile. No wonder he didn't win coach of the year. Wave hello to the new Scott Skiles |

Skiles was a good coach but Thibs is a way better coach. He's coaching a bad team and because of his greatness he raised our expectations. |

Thibs has struggled this series, but what else can he do? He cannot create a guy to score in crunch time out of thin air. There is only so much he can do. |

Thibs isn't overrated at all. He's a great coach. But he's having a bad series and his stubbornness has already cost them a game, and it's going to cost them the series if he plays the rotation the same way in Washington. |

But leaving Butler in for a full 53 minutes with only 6 points when they clearly needed offense? He's ok for the regular season, but as far as the playoff's, he just might be too stubborn to win. Maybe they'll scratch out a game or two, but at this rate, I wouldn't be shocked if they got swept all 4.Nas wrote: Skiles was a good coach but Thibs is a way better coach. Maybe, but he'll more than likely never win an NBA championship with the Bulls, and let's face it, that's all that matters/

Thibs' excellence cannot be undone during a year in which he lost his two best scorers. He could get swept this series by losing the next two games by an average of forty points and it wouldn't do anything to my confidence in him moving forward. The only problem with him is he has yet to understand the meaning of big picture, but that shortcoming is irrelevant to this discussion. |

The worst offensive team in the NBA by every measure is a 4 seed. Oh, and their two best offensive players to start the season are injured and traded. I'd say he's pretty damn good. They just don't have the talent come playoff-time. Thibs is a great coach. The grass is always greener. |

But they won like a combined 8 games all year so that doesn't really change your argument. |

hiram wrote: Thibs is a A to B guy, not a B to C guy like Phil. Its time for a change. This was a lost year when Rose went down and even more so when Deng was traded. He's never had the opportunity to move them from B to C. |

B&B brought up a good point today. If the Bulls did finally get a really good scorer would he sit his ass at end of game because of no defense. Think Carmelo? |

He never sat Rose and Augustin plays every 4th quarter. They shouldn't listen to Stacey King. Dunleavy and Boozer were awful.

hiram wrote: Thibs is horrible. Runs his players to the ground in the regular season so that they will be burnt out by playoff time. He doesn't get it. That's why he's A to B. They did not lose due to burn out. They lost because they ran out of talent. Playoffs are a endurance race and the cream for the most part rises. Apparently, Wash offense is better then Bulls defense in s long series? |

Personnel issue. Not a coaching issue. |

He does run them into the ground, though With that said if he had a top 5 talented team, he'd win a title for sure |

rogers park bryan wrote: He does run them into the ground, though With that said if he had a top 5 talented team, he'd win a title for sure This series had nothing to do with how he used players in the regular season. No reason to say he is an A to B coach. |

I don't think asking professional basketball players not to miss 20 layups in a game is asking too much. |

Thibs got exposed by forgetting to ask his team to get from point A to point B and then not miss the layups at point C or whatever the blue hell whosits' point apparently is ...... |
