To the Lakers for their lottery pick? Lakers reportedly to inquire about him. |

You have a less than 10% chance of getting a better coach. |

If Kobe came back, too, they'd win the title. So, no. |

With the Bulls cap restraints itd be hard not to consider a potential top 5 pick for a coach who will run his team into the ground. |

He doesn't run his team into the ground. He gets the most out of his roster and develops players. He hasn't coached a star player other than Rose so it is hard to say how he will work with one. Rose loves him though and KG loved him as an assistant in Boston. He is no worse than the 2nd best coach in the NBA. |

Yes and then hire Doc when he ends his run with the Clippers |

Lakers get whatever they want. This probably happens. |

No. The anti-Thibs bullshit is beyond tiresome at this point. |

Maybe he wants to go. Chicago may have better dining in general, but Los Angeles has better burritos. |

Thibs is a great coach. Is a great coach = to a great player? Im asking. In the other major sports its definitely a big NO. |

If a lottery pick comes back and you can sign Doc as the next coach. Otherwise, no thanks. |

He has a Phil like quality about him where he is able to get players to mesh well together and play to the best level. Look what he has done with Deandre. |

That probably has more to do with Vinny being gone. |

for the sake of discussion, what if they ship thibs and rose to LA? gets them out of rose's cap crippling deal.... i'd want several 1st round picks... i guess that deal would depend on what you think derrick rose has left in him, and the 1st round picks would be bad ones because LA would become a playoff team |

He has zero value in the trade market unless he returns to his career averages for at least a year. The only team I can think of that would invest so heavily in an injured player is the Chicago Bears. |

Unless there was a LeBron or Kobe type player available trading Thibs isn't smart. He can give you 15 to 20 years coaching. The guy has turned chicken shit into 50 win teams. Hell he won 60 games even though Rose missed half the year. Edit: I want to see him coach a great team. |

I hope that when the talent is actually in place to win a title that he learns to not run his players in to the ground chasing regular season wins. If a team is talented enough to win an NBA title winning 50+ games should be easy enough on cruise control, no more playing your stars 40+ mpg during the regular season, regular season doesnt matter. have bulls fans finally had enough of the try hard regular season followed by a 4-1 1st or 2nd round playoff exit? |
