Chicago can't compete with New York in the Bagels category.

NY Bagels on Touhy can, which might say something and Kaufmans are good.

The bagels machines cooked in the steamers like Einsteins are what people now think Bagels should be.

Montreal>>>New York.

Luckily, New York tells themselves they're the best so they are?

NY Bagels is very good, but it's not in the same league as the best bagels in NYC. Like you said, Kaufmans is good--but it has been in a state of decline for several years. The corned beef is nowhere near as tasty as it used to be.

What are the chances the Bulls will acquire Melo? About 10%?

This is America. I'm sure some guy in Greece makes a good bagel too.

Bagels are the one thing that New York is 100% correct in saying they do the best.

I would put it at 70%.

I agree with the above. Plus, Paxson just isn't on the same level as Jackson in terms of credibility. And there are too many questions surrounding Rose's health and personality.

I'll be excited if he comes. I just don't see why he would.

The Bulls are a much better situation for pretty much every reason except money.

Yes, there is that small matter.

Jackson has no credibility when it comes to creating a championship team. He's a rookie. If the rest of his moves look like the Calderón one the Knicks are in trouble. Paxson has already put together a championship type roster with the 2nd best coach in the NBA. Besides it seems clear to me that Phil wants to start from scratch.

Money and family would be the only issue. Considering what they've done this off season I believe that the Bulls know they can work out a sign and trade with the Knicks.

Didn't they know they could sign Wade and James, too?

The Bulls have a championship-type roster? I guess the Wizards must really be a powerhouse, then.

Thibs and Melo share the same agent and I am sure Thibs has a clue how Melo is leaning. That's probably why he started reaching out to former coaches. Also Melo and Noah played AAU ball in the same circuit.

The addition of Rose at 80% and the elimination of Boozer helps.

They were hopeful. It's different this time. All reports says as much.

You're saying no one thinks Melo will go back to New York?

If I'm Melo, I would have serious reservations about signing with the Bulls given Rose's inury problems, contract and attitude.

No. I'm saying all reports are saying the Bulls have the best chance to get him. You haven't heard reports about Melo doing homework on other teams and coaches.

I could see that. Even without Rose and Deng the Bulls were virtually a 3rd seed. No doubt in my mind they would have beaten Indiana and Washington if he were here.

I've heard a bunch of NYC reporters/columnists say there is little chance Melo will leave New York.

 Yeah I noticed just about all of them say this. That's why I believe the reports from the outside guys. All of them pretty much put the Bulls at the top of the list.
