Listened to some guy on Fox Sports today saying that the Heat for this current year are in better shape to compete in the East than the 94 Bulls. I laughed so hard I about lost control of my vehicle. Ridiculous |

If the Heat miss the Finals because of a terrible call, we can talk. |

The East is easier to win today than it was in 1994. You wouldn't be surprised if 5 or 6 teams came out of the East. |

I would be surprised by 5 or 6 teams. I don't think anyone outside of Cleveland, Chicago, and maybe Indiana would come out of the East. Washington won't. Toronto won't. Brooklyn won't. Knicks won't. Hawks, Bobcats, and Heat won't. But the opinion in the OP is definitely absurd. The Heat would be pretty competitive if Wade had any pride left whatsoever, but as it is the Heat are more likely to be like the '99 Bulls with Bosh playing the role of Kukoc. |
