wow.... so at 5:14pm you posted this in your todays-b&b thread.... but since you're kind of really a big deal, at 5:15 you decided the board needed another thread to discuss this monumental happening in a proper beardown-joint.

Sounds like cowley just did the Rose camp a solid favor in that article, because all you need to do is read the very few quotes from #1 asswipe BJ Armstrong.

here is my BJ Armstrong memory after the season he was an ALL STAR and the Bulls wanted to trade him for a 2nd pick and couldn't find a taker. he wanted a new contract and they left him unprotected then for the Raptors expansion draft. Who then traded him to GS.

This confirms what many of us believed. Rose is a selfish player that was more concerned with himself than helping the team secure a player that would put them in a great position to win a title. Why? Because Marshmelo might takeaway his best player status. This really makes me sick. Only a complete idiot goes after Gasol over Marshmelo. Noah and others should hate him.

Lots of quotes in that article that are :shock: :

- Rose was much more aggressive in the Bulls’ pursuit of free agent Pau Gasol, not only asking for the veteran’s phone number, but giving a hard sell to the big man on joining the Bulls.
So why Gasol and not Anthony?

Derrick needs to shut his fucking mouth. I don't want to hear one more word from this little prick until he plays an entire year. He better be an absolute stud on the court this year and hope his new BFF can stay healthy.

Totally agree. He's a petulant baby at times as well.

But there are MANY different personalities in sports...good, bad, terrible......but at least their "people" are trying to put on a good front for them. That's what they get paid to do. Rose's team gets paid to destroy his rep.

I don't know. Who else do you think he didn't want to play with? And I'll take my chances with a semi-healthy Rose as "the man" over Carmelo Anthony any day of the week.

But do you really think it's his job to recruit? Did you read the story about the advice he got from Jeter? And it was a Bulls-approved Sam Smith article! There was hardly enough room on Carmelo's giant wang for the lips of Noah and Gibson and he didn't come here. Recruiting doesn't really work. Guys pretty much go where the money is.

I'll admit I may be biased because I think Anthony is a turd and I am glad I don't have to watch him throw up bad shots for the next few years.

I think this whole "recruit" thing is a media creation after the Miami thing. Where did everyone go this year? To the money except you had the Lebron go home. BTW, his wife tweeted or instagrammed the Akron house right after the finals loss.

There was no drama there was hype. Rose did not want to play with Melo so what. Supposedly on media hype Love is his BFF that got not traction either.

Regardless of what B&B say Rose thinks he has a good team. Play it out.

I really would like it to be like start the season and see who wins. I tried last year really hard to get back into NBA. I do not want Bernsie's regular season does not matter and no one but a couple has a chance. The west is awesome which in my mind makes Bernsie look like an idiot.

Play with these guys Rose and don't get hurt. Roll the dice.
