its possible to trade him isnt it? just give him away. someone will take him. ill take ben gordon in return. that would be hilarious and it WOULD bring us closer to a championship. addition through subtraction. |

Rose appears to not even like basketball. Maybe it was all a ruse. He busted his ass for a couple years, had the fire and passion, got paid, and cashed out. I think it's awesome. |

Bulls were sure "lucky" to get Derrick Rose. Kind of like the Bears were lucky Denver decided to trade Cutler. |

Definitely hindsight. No one could have foreseen this. Maybe he will turn it around. It was interesting to hear Chris Webber take a jab at him yesterday on Mike and Mike. Webber mentioned how Patrick Beverley who I've known since he was in high school played the entire yr with same injury Rose has. Know the competitor he is and actually saw him give Rose 35 in high school as Marshall High blew out Simeon in a Christmas tournament at Chicago State. If you look at the roads that kid has traveled to get to the NBA and the all out warrior he is and contrast it with Rose and this Bullshit it would make you all the more angrier. He made himself an NBA player. I know Rose has also but it seems like he doesn't appreciate it anymore |

Based on specific requests by the team for what he can work on and to tell me a player improved his shot from the time he was a rookie probably applies to a vast majority of NBA and NDBL players. And if you dont think there has been an effort to work on the ability pull up in the lane for an easy 6 footer or float in from the free throw line, v driving wildly to the basket and ending up on the ground 50% of the time.....then you might need a better TV. cut in from the wing, stop inside the free throw line, knock that down. You dont see him take that shot and it is exactly what they want.....because the Bulls want to make sure rose can make it to graduation ceremonies in 15 years! |

bigfan wrote: Nobody was drafting Westbrook #1. lol He was a good college player, but very unpolished. Yeah I know that. When OKC drafted him fourth it was considered a stretch. There were guys that were more accomplished in high school Love, Lopez that went lower. There was no way anyone could have foreseen the player that he turned into. |

Would you rather have Michael Weedsley? He's never been injured, right? Most athletes get injured and this to be frank is not about Rose getting injured. Its about his refusal to play with seemingly minor aches and pains. Its about not wanting to play when a doctor oks you to play. And since you introduced Westbrooks injuries into the discussion it is about Westbrook coming back from a leg injury that was almost as severe a full yr. before Rose did. No one will ever question his heart or will like we are doing right now. |

Density really is your strong suit isn't it. They brought up Beasley and I brought up Westbrook because he was in the same draft you fucking idiot. Some of you guys argue simply for the sake of arguing. You see certain guys names and immediately jump in with comments regardless of context. You really need to stop yourself because in attempting to be witty or whatever it is you call it you're really revealing yourself to be a damn fool. I know that some on here fashion themselves to be some sort of message board royalty because they are volume posters i will continue to post whenever i fucking feel like it. |
