I think channel 50 bought the subcontract that used to go to channel 26. There was some talk about Tribune buying channel 50 from Fox but it fell through.

this was one hell of an entertaining game. memphis kept on making runs at the bulls but then it was some combination of jimmy butler not fucking around, mirotic unloading a bunch of "why not?" 3pt shots (6/6!) and how can you speak about "why not" without bringing up aaron brooks? his whole offensive game is predicated on "why not?" and i'll be damned if he wasn't firmly onboard with this crazy shooting night.

memphis was something like 21-4 entering this game, right? you can see why. marc gasol wanted to put in some work versus his brother, and when they needed a big play to get back into the game they kept on getting it all throughout the 2nd half. but then this funny thing happened where jimmy butler is a cold-blooded ~30+pts assassin out there. earlier in the day bernstein was gushing about how he has little wasted movement out there, and i saw just that in a guy who was refreshingly direct with taking the path of least resistance to easy buckets. there were a couple times in transition where in the midst of a memphis run he calmly slowed down and took a 6ft shot off the glass, or stood back and pulled up from 12-15 on the wing... and then he's starting to learn how to go and take his free throws which is a really really nice thing to see.

so in the immortal words of max scherzer's agent: please don't get hurt, jimmy! this idea to bet on yourself this year is coming up aces thus far. bernstein was declaring a max deal for you earlier in the day FFS!

Do they keep Butler and Rose? Who should they keep if they only keep one? Who would they rather have? I think Thibbs would help Rose pack.
