Post subject: | Rose's refusal to protect the ball |
No one has been a bigger Rose apologist than me over the last few years, but lately the bloom is starting to come off a bit for me. I can understand him taking his time to get acclimated to the game since he missed 2 years, but the one thing I don't understand is is steadfast refusal to protect the ball or even act like he gives a shit about that aspect of the game. All season long and especially last night he has been just standing in front of his defender and engaging in a high careless dribble of the ball. All year long defenders have been knocking the ball away from him..often he gets it back, but last night I think he turned it over 3x in a row at one point. Its like he doesn't give a shit. Turns it over and comes back down and does the same lazy dribble over and over again. Turn it over again. I'd like to see him act like he gives a shit and maybe even protect the ball like an actual fucking point guard. |

I'm more concerned with him falling in love with his jump shot. |

As the season has progressed he appears to have regressed physically. He is settling a lot for the jump shot but that is what most people said he would have to do if he wanted to stay healthy. |

The guy is exiting...more so than Nate Robinson. |
