Derrick Rose: A Real Asshole

When you have the 2nd best coach in the NBA there should never be talk about him being on a hot seat. Derrick Rose is a cancer. It's probably his people that's pushing the story.

And maybe I missed the part where Thibbs almost seems OK with that?

Those teams shouldn't have been in the playoffs. Last year was disappointing but when Augustin is your best scorer you can't get too upset about it.

He's a good coach, but the bar is set pretty low if what he has done makes you the second best coach in the league.

Who's developing these players? Where would you rank him? What's your top 10?

You're chance at replacing Thibs with a better coach is next to nil. Maybe some folks are seeing the Atlanta Hawks and are thinking there are better coaches out there. You can keep the crap that Cleveland hired.

Jimmy Butler only received playing time once Luol Deng was injured. He is jerking Mirotic around right now. McDermott's playing time was on the decline before he was put on the shelf. Tony Snell in now behind Hinrich and Etwaun Moore. Thibs loves his vets although Kirk Hinrich committed one of the dumbest fouls that I have ever seen committed during any game. He cost them a game with that. He continues to trot Hinrich out there game after game even though it is clear that Hinrich is on his last legs.

He isn't and I don't think he should be. If I was a guy like Butler or Taj I wouldn't like it either.

There are two problems that I have with Thibs. 1. Development of younger players. 2. He will err on the side of defense invariably. Ultimately I don't think he is the problem. I don't think that he is the second best coach in the league either. He is good but he has been outcoached in a couple of playoff series. I don't think that he should be on the hot seat.
