Both teams kicking the ball around and racking up fouls. Might find out what lurks in the depths of the Pistons bench by the time this is over.

Thibs T-ed up. Maybe he'll get another so he can check out early and go catch up on 'Girls' on Netflix in his office while seeing if he can get back his old rent-controlled DC apartment for next season.

Gotta give the Hedgehog credit. He's turned this Piston team into a respectable bunch pretty quickly. I don't think it will last long though. Stan grates on his players and eventually they just tune him out.

Pistons should give Chauncey Billups a turn coaching. New Pistons owner is paying as many ex-coaches as Theo has the Cubs paying. Billups likes Denver, probably end up the Nuggets head coach next season.

Wow, this is some awful hoops. But for the NBA's free throw fetish, both teams would end up in the 60's.

Gasol wang-whipping the Pistons front-court. Rebounding his own misses and keeping them away from their own basket.

Last 5 minutes of the first half:

Pistons don't score at all.

Bulls score 8 in the last 5 minutes of the half, but 6 of those are on boring-ass FT's. The other 2 points are on a Gasol put-back layup.

NBA action....

Here we go again. Down to six now. Shades of the last game against Detroit.

I put $66 on the Pistons M-L @ +400 on Bovada. Figured it was worth a de minimis wager at those odds. Thought I'd lost already at half-time. But now it's 59-59 to start the 4th.

Taj and Butler getting it done in the 4th.

Nice air-ball, Tayshaun.

Pistons passing the ball directly to Bulls players now.

Bulls doubling up FT attempts, 18 for Chicago, 9 for Detroit. A bit heavy on the homer officiating.

Pistons can't give the ball away enough, 19 turnovers, 8 of them by their PG Reggie.

Brooks scores his first points of the game, a 3 to put the Bulls up 81-78. And then follows it up with an unconventional drive/finish. Bulls up 5.

Pau SMASH.

Gasol angrily dunks a put-back on a Jimmy Butler miss and gets fouled in the process, 3 point trip, Bulls go up 86-82.
