You have to hope that health and player development are big factors with this year's team. They have pretty solid depth but lack a super star. |

Bulls got this. They'll win by at least 15. Keep an eye on the Noah and Hoiberg relationship this season. Our lineup can't defend either but they should be better offensively. |

derrick looked good for #TheReturn v5.0 or whatever, but idk how much of that was preseason mavs not wanting to close out and clog the lane and deny him easy little layups. he wasn't in DJ VOLUME CHUCKER mode from beyond the arc so that bodes well you would hope. starting mirotic over noah is an interesting move that seems to go in favor of rumsfeld's "known unknwons" over the "known knowns" of noah, and i like the idea that you wanna try and maximize mirotic first and foremost over trying to maximize an aging/big-miles noah. there should be plenty of leftover defense on this team, but i wanna see this offense do its thing. i have no idea what to expect this year, but seeing as it's looking to develop the offensive end of the floor i'm excited for something new, and drama = the thought they might "blow this thing up" if this year doesnt work out? well how do you do that. i figure the bulls get a big emphatic win that doesnt mean shit in the big picture like games 1-2 of the cavs series last year (GAME..... BLOUSES" --- you just had to try DOUBLETEAMING LEBRON TO DENY HIM THE BALL IN GAME 4 and maybe this is different. |

I have class at Malcolm X tonight, I was already on the fence because I wanted to watch the game, but with Obama there it's going to be literally impossible. |

Buckets was one of the shooters at the BlackHawks game on Saturday. You would think for a pro athlete, the guy could make an adjustment after his first shot went wide left. All three were way off. |

WTF, no upgrades at all?!! Hoiberg over Thibs was all the upgrading that they needed. Starting caliber 3 would have been the only other move I would have made. Trading Taj would have accomplished that but what the hell do I know. |

Long time guy, I absolutely thought of the absence of Thibs to be an upgrade. But w/o the horses even Phil couldn't get this Bulls team over the top. I agree with the poster that said: WE NEED A SUPERSTAR! We're gonna have another 50+ win season and win a playoff series. That's about it unless Mirotic blooms/explodes/arrives. I hadn't noticed that Noah ain't starting when I put up the lineups. I like that idea! |

Reg season 2014-2015 Pre-season last year, 2014: so, yeah, i don't expect Dougie McEuroBuckets will be playing 20+ minutes a game when it actually matters/regular season. |

Noah may complain about his role in a contract year and that could be a problem on a team he's been a leader on for years. |

Boilermaker Rick wrote: What about this year? prolly the same as last year, they'll give him more playing time to start the season--partly because Dunleavy's sidelined, party b/c he was a top 10 1st rounder they traded picks for--and then after christmas, when things heat up, Dougie McBuckets will Scalabrine it on the bench until it's time for the human victory cigar. |

I see...but I'm with Hussra that he may be invaluable as a 6th man coming off the bench with his high energy game! And who knows: maybe he will like the switch. I'm sure his old bones will thank him. |

He'll turn into a good bench player or a role playing starter. I think his best case scenario is an average bench player. 8th or 9th guy maybe. I think he's more likely going to be out of the NBA four years from now than in some team's starting lineup though. |
