Ike, if you made an effort to try and attend as many games as I have, you would be probably around 500 short.

So, yes, I have seen a few games, I have seen who plays hurt, when and why....and that is not why Rose was hanging back doing nothing.

Rose was 8 for 22 on the night. 18 points is okay, but not on 22 shots. Only 2 for 4 on free throws as well and just 5 assists with 2 turnovers. Same old mediocre crap. He is NOT a superstar, NOT an All Star and remains a selfish ball hog that plays lousy defense and shoots a lousy %.

Rose attacked the bucket which is his strength. That's encouraging. He will never be a run the table kind of point. I don't think he will ever regain that explosive leaping ability again but I think his ability to accelerate is still there. I think he is going to be fine actually. This offense is more geared to his strengths as a penetrating point guard.

Penetrating is great if you can finish. But he is not finishing at the rim anymore. That's why he was just 8/22. that kind of shooting % sucks. What strengths are you referring to? Just 5 assists, which is what he averaged last season.....so it's not playmaking abilities. Hmmm not shooting 8/22 from the field and just 2/4 FT. DEFITITELY not defense. The only penetrating abilities I have seen evidence of in the last couple years involved a gang bang with some hood rat.
