Post subject:  When choosing a Bulls Coach...

Make sure he is as ornery as a Bull!


The Bulls best coaches all had that in common. From Dick Motta,Phil Jackson and to a lesser extent,Scott Skiles and Thibs.

I loved Skiles too. Don't remember Dick Motta. Doug Collins as coach is my earliest memory of the Bulls.

Ahh,I knew I forgot somebody!

Point is Hoiberg looks overwhelmed during a game. Hell,I screamed more coaching HS & grade school basketball.

but he works well with the coaches and front office females, which is really what matters!

In basketball,when you are standing next to a ref at different points in a game or yelling to your players,I think it has an effect over the course of a game. Tell it to Thibs who was always reminding his players different instructions when they came down the court.

Similarly, Utah Jazz coaches must be able to improvise within dominant-seventh chords.
